So wonderful to see you back in the saddle, my dude. Your presence has been sorely missed. I hope you're feeling well and life is being kind to you. You seem like such a genuine guy and your enthusiasm for music brightens my day every time you post. Thanks for what you do 🤘🙏

16:42 man. There's something magical about being human and feeling the same thing so passionately, especially in music. There's no scientific reason or evolutionary benefit. We're just loving the same very very very specific air pressures at the same time lol. Stupid.

Hey Chase :) I hope you see this comment so that you know for sure there are people like me who absolutely love your channel. I know I am one of MANY :) I love music so much but understand it so little. Hearing you break a song down makes me fall more in love with the music because I understand more than just "hey, this sounds nice." Thanks for making this sandwich for me today and I look forward to more stuff, as always.

This is so much better than just nostalgia, so happy to see ya again man. The best bits resolve around syncopation and off beats with eerie atmosphere and down tuned thuds which is basically TesseracT in a nut shell so you know i love that aspect (sleep token too right?) Anyways man best wishes always!! - still growing hair out lol =)

My guy! Happy to see you back in the saddle! As always, an excellent reaction to another favorite I discovered through your channel. This song kinda gave me some Bilmuri vibes once the guitar work kicked in, which I would LOVE to see a reaction to at some point, I think you'd have some great reactions to their stuff. Another fav of mine that I'd love to see eventually would be some songs by SHREZZERS. The dudes rip and I want someone to notice them so bad! Hope all is well, and looking forward to more of your vids coming in the future! I know I missed your content and the world needs more Chase in it. Keep it up sir, HADGD!

Outstanding to see the Professor back in class! :-) I absolutely love seeing a new Chase video pop up on my feed sir, its always so uplifting and a welcome break from the real world, so to speak. Another excellent and mind boggling break down. You have only refined your musical sense and acumen since your channel's inception and it's truly a gift to be able to share your insight and talent, we appreciate it and you sir! Glad to see you on again, I wish you all the best health an happiness for the upcoming year, hopefully will see many more excellent vid's to keep us all happy and entertained.

Great to see you back again Chase! I really love what LANDMVRKS is doing right now! They're so good at blending all of these genres and even the ones outside of metal. Really shows what metal could sound like with these incorporations, and you still immediately know it's them. Really hope you'll check out their other new single Death ft. Drew York from stray from the past. Honestly one of the best colabs I've heard in a long time and your hip-hop bone will appreciate it a lot as well

I packed a lunch and waited for the next vid to drop. Not an artist I know much about, but I took a safe bet that if Chase is doing it, it will be either something I will like or an educational experience. Both a worth my time

You're my favourite music reactor guy. Also captain chunk is really good, super punchy and whatnot, Made For More is a good song from their new album. Fin. is also a fucking fantastic song by them, but it's the last track on the album and it works SO well as the last song. (Ps the whole coffee bit made me laugh way too hard)

It is so so good to have you back, my dude. You are tip tier.. Informative, hilarious, adorable, and just so captivating. I love this song too. LANDMVRKS can do no wrong, in my opinion. They did another new song called Death which I think you'd get into! Otherwise, some reactions to the new Bad Omens songs would be amazing! Anyway. Stoked you're back. Hope you're well. Keep pressin' on! You have been missed.

Thanks again for your time and effort! Special song, needs some more listens at this point. Premiere is always a bit busy with chat and ⏸ counting.... I got my Arjen Lucassen 'Star One' copy today. Crazy amount of special guest musicians/singers. Would you consider reacting to Star One - Prescient (ft Michal Mills, Ross Jennings)? HADG weekend ♥️

I thought I wouldn’t like this song/band but it’s great! Music to me doesn’t need explaining but when Chase pauses and points out the details and reasoning, a lot of it becomes more enjoyable 😁🤟. If your free around the 16/17 of April ( Easter) there’s a gig in limerick Ireland that you would enjoy so much. The siege of limerick in Dolan’s. Lots of young and old heavy metal bands getting a chance to play live for a weekend. About 25 different bands from Ireland Britain and even further. It’s the 25 year this year. You would enjoy and never forget. An excellent experience. Only pauses are between bands though 🤣😎👍🤟

That coffee anecdote was definitely all too relatable lol, I've done similar many times. LANDMVRKS' other new single from this year Death is also fantastic, Bitter by Captain Chunk is a great one for more Bertrand (also one of the guitarists from LANDMVRKS is in both bands), and Erra's new single Nigh to Silence is really good as well since you mentioned them

Have I missed the humor, I will remember that sandwich analogy for a long time 😂 Chunk! No Captain, Chunk is definitely in the Pop Punk category, but also really cool and they have a new fairly recent new record. Maybe you might enjoy reacting to one of their songs as well? Can’t recommend “Painkillers” or “True Colors” enough!

@Chase Carneson Good to see you back. I appreciate you man. Make sure you get your rest too! I want to spread the word some for these guys. You may be familiar with the band Skillet. Well their lead singer John Cooper and one of their guitarists started a side project in 2018 called Fight the Fury that was meant to cater to their fans who missed some of Skillet's metal roots. The song My Demons is a good place to start - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYucoayMqsZnjpY

Also, I've started to really enjoy this sort of music more recently (previously I was all classic rock and metal), but I haven't gotten to the point where I can distinguish genres. Would this be considered hardcore punk, metalcore, something else?
