I like what you said about how the song sounds upbeat but the lyrics speak of an opposite message. Everyone can relate to the feeling of pretending to be okay when you're not. That heavy section is like the breaking point when your frustration with everything finally bubbles over and you lash out. Then the song goes right back to the original sound just like we go right back to our old ways of being sad and pretending we're okay.

This album has blown me away, Landmvrks are so talented and their music is so catchy and pulls from so many different genres Big fan of their flow, every song gets me grooving. They’re quickly becoming one of my favourite bands, and Flo’s vocals are just incredible

Macarena, the famous song everyone loves dancing to, is a good example of an upbeat, happy sound for a song with a sad meaning. Pumped Up Kicks is another, so definitely been done before but of course still a great contrast.

Nice timing since vocalist Florent Salfati will be featured on a song from one of my favourite bands next week. Suasion are somewhat of a link between LANDMVRKS, Normandie and Starset and I'll suggest their new song "Murphy's Law" as soon as it's out.

Amazing how a simple haircut can lift you up! Went 15 months without a cut (thx COVID-19), finally ventured forth last month: lost 7 inches of quarantine hair! Anyway, band kinda gives a punk vibe in first part of song, with the super bright guitar sound and the totally blank looks on their faces. Interesting that these really young, cleancut guys chose super heavy thrash metal genre.
