She was going through a difficult time in her life. Her fans sign her the song but change "I love you" by "We love you" to show their love and support her. This video is more to live the emotion of this moment, she doesn't sing a lot here and doesn't display her vocal abilities and versatility.

This video was never about the song. It is about a magical moment between Lara and her fans. I’m so glad you didn’t give up on it. If you purely want to hear her sing it, check out the version from her Tout Intimite concert. But this is the most intimate moment I’ve ever seen on stage, and thus for me, the most impactful performance of this song by Lara. And by the way, she still sounds incredible in this despite the emotions and loud audience.

This was actually set up by her piano player and the audience. Lara had no idea this was coming. At the time she was going through a painful break up and the critics were being very hard on her to the point she had even contemplated suicide. This is why her piano player set this up. Lara said after the performance that she realized how beautiful life really.was. So although you didn't get to hear her sing as much as you wanted, you witnessed something much more precious than that. You witnessed a great person and wonderful singer being saved by those who love her.

He also had been her boyfriend for a few years, at the start of her career. This song was written when their love evolved to a friendship and speaks about a couple splitting while still having a lot of sentiments one for the other.
