Wonderful seeing someone that appreciates the levels of genius involved here. Everyone can hear it's a pretty song sung well. But the actual genius is the idea, choices and arrangement!

Listen to the LP original...the vibe is so different from what you heard here. I just love how Scott chose to pair these 2 together. It's a bit mindblowing. THANK YOU for reviewing this. Few people do and it needs more eyes and ears on it.

I wish I had the kind of brain where I could hear a pop song and think, huh that would sound great with the tempo changed a little and laid over this movie soundtrack instrumental 🤔😀 This video always gives me chills! I don't think I've seen someone react to this who was familiar enough with Time to have an idea what was coming, thanks!

Another very considered, intelligent and informative review, Dave. Thank you! I love the way you broke this down. I haven't seen any other reactor understand what was going on here and what they did. Didn't their voices blend beautifully? I'm used to hearing Scott with Mitch and I think they make the most amazing duet partners as their voices are perfect together but I can find room in my heart to like Scott and Mario Jose singe together too!

Your critique and breakdown of this was great. Scott's creative talent is mind boggling. Who would have ever thought to put these two pieces together. To me it is pure magic. Never, ever tire of this performance with it's beauty and raw emotion. I really don't have words to explain to anyone what I feel when listening to this. It's as if I'm transported to somewhere, some place that has no description yet I'm encompassed and overwhelmed by it. An absolute favorite for me! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Yeeessss I’m SO glad you did this! I knew with your music training/background you’d appreciate this. Scott is a genius when it comes to arranging and the emotional relationship in music. I think you’d really appreciate the making of Pentatonix’s Evergreen behind the scenes to see their creative process… love your reactions as you go down this rabbit hole 👏🏻👏🏻

I LOVE watching you react to music. It is so apparent that you understand the beauty of it. You can anticipate what's coming, because of your understanding, and when it gets to where you know it's going it's like you're proud of the musician for doing what's 'right'. You hear and recognize the flow, the ebbs, the ups and downs, where the melody is going to go. It's so awesome. It also means, and you can see it, that you have an outstanding appreciation for the art. Love it!

I have to watch it again. It looked like Scott made a slight correction when they were both singing. Mario would go on tour with ptx. Was he their opening act? I’ve got some research to do. Beautiful 😍 Could see Scott listening. Wow.

Mario was an up and coming singer when he was on staff for PTX "On My Way Home" tour. I believe he was getting vocal training from Avi and Mitch during the tour. One of their BTS videos show them asking him to open for PTX in Boston ... and the band brought his parents in to see him perform in an arena. He has a solo album that's also very good.
@vidsorama22 жыл бұрын
@@chrisabel1833 Mario graduated from the prestigious Berklee College Of Music and was part of the renowned award winning college a cappella group, Pitch Slapped. I doubt that he was getting vocal training from Avi and Mitch when he worked for Pentatonix. He was already ready, that is why they gave him the chance to open a concert for them. Mario has sung with Meghan Trainor, Prince, Post Modern Jukebox, Michael McDonald and many others, in addition to having his own shows.
