FYI, this album with the flames came out at the time of their plane crash when the lead singer (brown outfit), a guitarist Steve Gaines, (red shirt, middle), his sister Cassie Gaines, not pictured, a manager and both pilots were killed in a plane crash, 10/20/1977. They removed the flames from the cover after the crash. Several had severe injuries and it was felt the flames were gruesome after that happened. It was a HUGE loss! There's only 2 people alive now that are on this cover. The drummer, Artimus Pyle in the shorts and guitarist Gary Rossington, 2nd from the left.

Street Survivors was released three days before the plane crush. The cover with the flames in back was replaced after the crash to just show the band members. Check out You Got That Right and I Know A Little

an old dude here. in my top four forever...Pink Floyd #1, Lynyrd Skynyrd #2, Eagles #3, Heart #4. lol... they were so good and because Ronnie made em practice hard. GIMME 3 STEPS is a good one, Ballad of Curtis Lowe is different and great.

The line, “When I come back here next year, i wanna see you again” makes me sad. This album came out, and three days later, Ronnie, Steve and Cassie were killed in the plane crash. Some great songs that you might like are: Call Me the Breeze Saturday Night Special Needle and the Spoon That Smell.

I have to say that most times if their are brass instruments in a slower, more bluesy type song, it’s usually a saxophone. Try out “Jungleland” by Bruce Springsteen. ♥️✌🏼😎
