This is a classic sketch. Deadpan absurd comedy, Mankeli style. The phrase "Panokset kovenee!" is quite funny in Finnish in the context where and how he says it, doesn't translate well (even if it literally means "Stakes are getting higher!).

"Uhkailija" translates to "Someone who threatens people". That is what the sketch is about basically. I like that you said you feel sorry for him because that is often the subtle undertone in their sketches. If you think about how someone arrived to such a point in their life that they make absurd threats which won't pan out, you realize that the persons life is very sad even if it's funny what he is doing currently.

Uhkailija = The threatherner 😂. Terrorism, hijackings and threats were constantly in the news at that time. Kummeli and Mankeli knew how to tackle a topic in a funny way.
