I'm impressed people still sang the "Seppo" thing at a festival in 2022. That meme was incredibly ancient in internet years even then. Hopefully Gigi D'Agostino doesn't mind it too much

I almost thought about Buka Bukaan from indonesia and Crazy Frog that was covered by Kobo Kanaeru, but wait, they don't ahve anything to do with finland or its finno-Korean Hyperwar. Crazy Frog was just played a lot on nokia phones under the German distributor Jamba!.

Kalle Elainten Ystava was sampled in Coconuts - Silver Lights for Hotline Miami. Probably as an homage to the old DOS game 'Tapan Kaikki'. The Korean idol group SES also made a song Dreams Come True that's originally Finnish.

By the way, this type of jokes, called sananmuunnokset, often dirty, are quite oridnary Finnish humor 13:15 "SiivousPojat is a very old project. The last one does not open as well in english. Stright translate of kesäkuu(june) is a summer month. So it indicates that summer is over after the summer month. My favourite one as a youngster was "Pate ja Rykä takas pelikentil", but it probably is funny only for cs players

Jope Ruonansuu (from Jopet Show) has made succes for making lots of parody songs mostly from Finnish songs. He was multitalented man. I´ve Garfield fan as long as i have known how to read. Karvisen mopo isn´t hikarious or good. I would say that it is mostly annoying. There is tons of parody songs in Finland, but there usually are no subtitles.

Justimusfilms has SO many epic gringe comedy, thay even had tv show. Think they were first youtubers to have TV show in finland(maybe in the world). Problem with justimus is that, it would be real pain to translate the "slang language"

That is hilarious, it's a similar thing in Sweden, where we have a similarly Tasteless song, that parodies the American song, by 50 cent, In da club. Rasmus in da Ladgård, also known as Rasmus är sämst. It is just as over the top as Kalle eläinten ystävä. It's made by the group Tampong Tomtarna, who only made such songs. And to this day, I hum along to the songs.

Never heard any of these, they must be relatively recent. There are a lot of really hilarious comedy songs in Finland, but I guess they don't qualify to this meme song category, since they are actual songs or part of a comedy show

Depends how you define new. At least Seppo on bi and Sontsan alla are from around 2008 (not sure if earlier). Some might are newer and some maybe older though.

It won't translate well and well, not very popular maybe (I like it), but Jätkät - Sanomalehti is based on popular (somewhat on purpose) misheard lyrics of Army of Lovers' Israelism. In it AoL is singing in Hebrew in chorus but for many Finns it sounds like they would sing "Ne vei mun sanomalehden" (They took away my newspaper).
