As a martial artist and an Asian of Filipino descent, seeing this trailer yesterday just made me feel amped up for Shang Chi so much since it debuted, period!!!! The diversity based on what I’m seeing from beginning to end of this trailer puts a smile to my face. It’ll be the most anticipated movie with an all Asian cast to be in my watchlist since crazy rich Asians. Especially with Akwafina in the cast, I’m hyped up instantly.

Ngl, after Endgame the future of the MCU was looking a bit grim, but this Shang Chi trailer is hype. It looks like it has its own style and the soundtrack is great, 2 things that can't really be said about a good portion of Marvel movies... Specially with what they've been giving us lately... Wandavision was nice overall, but they really dropped the ball hard in that last episode in regards to Evan Peters' character. And now Falcon and the Winter Soldier... yeah, it's kinda mid.

@@CQC.1990 That's why I've been so excited for him to enter the MCU. I'm hoping that eventually they will have him train Pete and develop the Way of the Spider in the MCU. That would be sick beyond words!!! Not sure if they will give him the duplicate ability yet, if anything I feel like that would be introduced in a sequel or crossover movie, but yeah, with how crazy the MCU has gotten I feel like it's only going to be a matter of time before they give Shang Chi his duplicate skill. Pumped he's finally in the MCU!!

I hope the first movie is timelined "pre snap", and hopefully near the end of the movie they show Shang Chi catching the attention of either SHIELD or the Avengers. If the second movie is timelined "post snap" it could touch on why Hawkeye was out killing Asian gangsters as Ronan (He went to help Shang Chi with a growing problem) while it also introduces Iron Fist. I 'd like to see a Disney+ series come out of the third movie set in a "post snap" through "post blip" time frame.

There's a lot of Wuxia style elements going on in this movie and it will be fresh this 2020s since its introduction of that genre at Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon of the early 2000s or the Hong Kong martial arts films esp. their Wuxia genre of the 1980s. I hope it bring justice this time and no "political elements" will intervene in this film.

As someone who likes to think of themselves as a pretty knowledgeable comic book fan, I know nothing about Shang Chi,his powers or his lore. That being said,the Use of Color and the Visuals look unique and interesting to the culture it wants to represent similar to Black Panther. I heard this was supposed to be almost an Homage to the classic Bruce Lee films which I'm all down for. The only thing I'm gonna severely Criticize this film on,is if the action scenes are not the same caliber as the something you would see in either Crouching Tiger-Hidden Dragon,Fearless or even Kung Fu Panda. Growing up watching films with actors like Jet Li,Jackie Chan,Tony Jaa and Bruce Lee,I'm expecting Marvel to truly push the Hand to Hand combat,especially if they want to make money in China whose action films are kinda a massive deal.

Shang-Chi doesn't have any powers. He is just REALLY good at martial arts (one of, if not THE greatest fighter in the entire Marvel universe). So yeah, the fight choreography has got to be impressive.
