The US music industry protects its own singers. That is why talented artists like Morissette, Katrina, Jessica will go either unnoticed or "ignored to death", and swept under the rug; or they might blow everyone out of the water. Which also explains why Filipinos competing in international competitions seldom win; because the respective countries' local singers should be given more exposure in the global stage.

Morissette is a real pro. This song isn't easy to sing. It requires excellent breath control to sustain those notes she's holding out, and to also do all that other crazy difficult stuff she's doing. She's making it look so easy that it doesn't look like she's even taking a breath AT ALL! Now, of course she's chosen her spots where to take a quick breath, but it just doesn't appear like she's doing that. Also, Mori's doing a fantastic job transitioning from her lower register to her upper register and back. Singers can really learn from her vocal techniques.

I’ve watched several of your Mori Reactions now and I never get tired of your genuine and honest disbelief that she’s not more known here in US. Like you said she is phenomenal!!! But unfortunately here we are in our own “little” world and the majority tends to listen to what the radio says is good. In a way....COVID was a blessing for Mori....she....started doing these LIvestreams , where you can see how humble and down to earth she is. Dave Lamar....discovered his videography skills as well, filming many of her covers as well as her usic videos , to her co-written songs from Signature. The quarantine also pick up a pen and work with Dave writing songs, which she is VERY good at. You'll need a bigger note pad, for all the suggestions you get.
