Great compilation! I'm German and have lived through all these years, so of course I knew most of the songs, except 3 or 4 I probably heard but are definitely not my style. And some songs, oh my gosh! When I saw the year, I thought, "What the...! Was it really THAT long ago?"

1:31 Well, the song „Rock me Amadeus“ is IN German, more or less… but the singer is Austrian… so was Udo Jürgens, by the way… EAV, Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung, are also an Austrian group, and Reinhard Fendrich… and DJ Ötzi…

A nice list of german songs. Covering some different styles, some different epoches. But there is one foul song on this list "Ein Stern" by DJ Ötzi. That's trash music.
