Im sure someone has said it before here or in the previous Plan Z video but what the most incredible part about this is that Boi What not only does all the instrumentals himself, thats him singing. He does the vocals, and then runs it through with the voice filter for the effect. First off, Great reaction! had a similar reaction to it after having friends recommend this artist to me before and happened to get this in my YT feed. Secondly,I would like to point out that not only is this just a masterfully produced song on it's own and the tech dominant theming is perfect for a plankton song, it has some subtext to it. This song,while using AI tools, is also touching on some of the political/philosophical realities of AI art tools in the creative arts space if left unchecked. The theming is blatant once you peer under the hood. It wasn't unintentional either. Boi What stated in a BTS stream that this track was about his own negative feelings towards these kinds of AI. The song points out that while "the Neon Tide" Aka AI, is a product, it is shallow, meaningless and mass-producible, and can and will oversaturate,overshadow and destroy the people who use Art to create.
