In this video I react to Nirvana's cover of The man who sold the world.
Originally, when I first heard this song from a video game and I hated it. But I as I continued to play the game the more I heard it, the more I liked it.
So, I was completely shocked to find that one of my favorite band's Nirvana, had covered the song. Now i'm curious!
Hope you guys enjoy the reaction and leave your request in the comment section below.

Let's put it in perspective. At that time Nirvana was the number 1 band in the world. A huge tsunami that break into mainstream. And many people think it will be like hundred of times before. It will soon be over. Many people (reporters, other musicians, the industry execs) believe they doing the unplugged was going to be the beggining of the end. Without loud electric guitars and thunderous drums, they can't give a good show. And as some people said "We sit in that cold night in NY to see the God in clay feet break in the flour, and we just saw the greatest musician of all time rise to eternity."

@latentsea Kurt wrote music for teenagers. Music is supposed to be simple and easy on the ear. When he was young and learning how to play guitar he could play like all the greats before his time and he chose to sound different and sound dirty with distortion it is grunge music. They killed glam rock and roll! But it was his emotion that he sang with that drew the people to him.

Good reaction. This is one of my favorite Nirvana albums. I think it was Kurt's goodbye letter to his fans. They played several covers I think, to give people a taste of what influenced them so those bands could be rediscovered by a new generation. Just a suggestion, everyone is reacting to Tool, Nirvana, Slayer, etc. Give another genre a try... Punk, psychobilly, ska (there's 60 years worth to listen to!), 80s new wave, americana... All of these channels are reacting to the same songs and it's getting saturated. Maybe I'm biased because I want people to react to my style but I'm good with that 😁

These men who sell the world, especially in their industry can apparently use some dark practices. Which makes me wonder what Kurt learned when he met this man? He was definitely in that income bracket, that Bowie was.

The version in MGS V wasn't by Bowie. It was a cover version by Midge Ure from Ultravox.
