In Poland not only football, but also other sports disciplines are popular - starting with ski jumping, which is watched by many people in Poland, already since years (especially since the times of our most famous champion, known worlwide, Adam Małysz). I think that also quite popular are for instance volleyball or handball. Also tennis, since we had recently some good tennis players. There are also some fans for instance of motor speedway.

Interestingly, in Krakow we have two football clubs, both of them are 100 years old. And for 100 years, Cracow and Wisła Kraków have had a so-called "holy war". Matches between these two teams cause the entire city to be on alert. Fan clashes are normal and are like the Battle of Grunwald ;) The truth is that we have great football fans, but in my opinion, volleyball fans are the best, the way they support Polish volleyball players is famous all over the world :)
