I've seen some reactors put in blank slides that last like 2 seconds, into their reaction video, and it acts like a pause. It allows you to add "pauses" if you didn't have enough while recording, without having to cut anything out. Rock Solid Reactions uses them, if you want to see what I mean. 🙂

Kevin doesn't do the bass when Avi is singing, Scott does. Kevin does beatboxing, cello, and tends to sing higher parts.

Yeah he’s a Tenor for sure. I wonder if reactors sometimes confuse the Kick Drum in the beatboxing for Bass? Not sure but so many reactors say either Kevin does some bass or Avi/Matt does some beatboxing. Almost like they kinda meld the two together 🤷‍♂️

Of course, everytime I hear Pentatonix sing a song I am positive that it is my "favoritest"! But their renditions of "Mary, Did You Know?" and "Hallelujah" ARE my favorite versions of those two songs. Other reactors have had success in avoiding the copyright demons by breaks at a minimum of once a minute and then return by going back and repeating the previous 10 seconds or so before continuing. This seems to confuse the copyright detection software. It also makes for a positive listening experience making the necessary breaks less annoying. As always, your mileage may vary.

Mark Lowry wrote the lyrics as a poem which he used on Christmas cards. A few years later he sent them to several others to see if they could set it to music. Kevin is not a bass. He's mid to high range. He is beatbox/sound effects. Avi was the bass with Scott filling in when he then, Matt now did/do the lead.

This was a huge song for them and broke records. There was some controversy involved regarding Avi Kaplan but it was quickly put to rest. aleteia.org/2015/03/23/when-christians-and-jews-make-sweet-music-together-literally/ In this case you will notice there is no bass line in the beginning through the melody phrases that Avi sings alone and with Scott. It kicks in only when Avi is freed up to put it in. Avi then did the bass line and he would also assist Kevin with percussive effects. Just to get totally confusing too when you do "Love Again" the heavy bass beat will be done by Kevin. They really were a stellar team for the rythmn section.

Kevin is tenor his voice closer to Mitch's than to Avi's. Scott is baritone with huge range which letting him do bass when Avi or Matt take solo. I don't think Kevin even can reach bass notes.
