Lets not forget Roger either. As a group they are wonderful and always have been since 1971. You should go and see them if you can, their live shows are spectacular. Rogers son plays in the group sometimes also.

Daft question but genuine: why now? Have you only just been introduced to them? They were "magic" with Freddie (if magic's the right word). In fact, this is a Mercury composition from 1984.

@@trishbelfield2864 Not daft, I heard their stuff casually in every day life, but wasn't really introduced to them until Adam joined as their frontman. My parents only really listen to World, Jazz, Classical and country music. I introduced myself to the world of pop, rock and R&B. I discovered Adam thanks to youtube recommending a video of his, and things snowballed from there.

This iHeart Theater performance was done after their appearance at the iHeart Music Festival in Las Vegas that got people salivating for Queen again. It was a re-introduction taster I guess for their first US tour as a collaboration. I'd never heard the song before this version and its been a fav ever since. I love me some drama in music. BTW congrats on your subscriber numbers going up. When I found you last week you were around 800 and now look at you! Well deserved my friend.

The young man next to Roger - is his son Rufus who is a drummer as his father. - and a really good one. Never forget Roger either - and the guys in the background a keybordplayer, and a bass player - they can all sing - so they can still be a choir.Rufus is not with them anymore - he is in another band full time.

I was never a big fan of the original strange disco version, the whole tempo and music itself was just off to me. I could never get into it enough to really enjoy the words and Freddie signing on it. But I love the QAL version of this song and turning it into a ballad. I really get the feeling behind the words.

Man….I think one of the most impressive things about this, to me (besides, like, everything) is…that earpiece seemed to be giving him absolute hell. I’ve NEVER seen him have to fiddle so much with some technical thingamabob during a performance. To the point I think he actually started turning towards the rest of the band to gauge things, because it wasn’t really cooperating with him. And he STILL, somehow, Did That. He never misses a beat. Not once. Doesn’t drop a single note, miss a single cue. Doesn’t flub the performance in the slightest. He’s an incredible singer, a gorgeous man and a beautiful person. But he’s also one of the most dedicated, hard-working and professional artists working today, and I’m always just so fucking impressed with his competence and professionalism.
