cracks me up that Roger wrote "Sheer Heart Attack", then Queen puts out an album called "Sheer Heart Attack" without putting "Sheer Heart Attack" on the "Sheer Heart Attack" album.

Occasionally I forget how versatile Queen is and then I listen to them and remember. Hadn't seen this version and Freddie going off on stage is now one of my favorite Queen-moments. Some light vandalism is always fun. But most important note of the day is of course the fact that shoes are shoes (unless they are sponsors)!

Someday, you might want to watch _Queen Live Montreal 1981 with commentary_ . Roger and Brian comment through the whole concert and it's just a hoot to see how naughty Roger can be and how Brian ignores his bawdy comments. It's an amazing experience. BUT, why I share that is that during "Sheer Heart Attack," Brian describes Freddie "eating the guitar" as Freddie crawls under Brian and mimics... um... _something_ . Then Freddie goes to Roger's drum set and Roger explains that Freddie often got "quite violent" when he did that in concerts, yanking on his cymbals. What amazes me is that during any concerts where Freddie was all up in their faces or even touching them, the guys just keep plugging away as if it was just another day. Such professionalism and apparently Freddie's actions never surprised them. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall after one of those dramatic experiences to hear what the conversation sounded like! Okay, and Coach and Mrs. Coach, you two are SO wonderful. I adore you both and LOVE your Queen reactions! Thank you!

Hello team! So that’s not rock n roll, my friends? I knew you would like this song! yes it's another side of queen indeed, this group can do everything musically, funky, blues, rock, it's a group without limits. Thank you for trusting me, I've been a big, big Queen fan since I was 13, so I know what I'm talking about! So I have another song, rather a mix of Queen to offer you, these songs are not by them, but covered in their own way, and here again rock n roll Queen version I'll give you the link...

Love this... exuberant.. performance! Freddie playing up to the crowd, as always. I can't help wondering about the sound quality of the recovered video, I could really hear very little of Brian's guitar, and none of John's bass that I could pick out... This is from one of a series of concerts arranged at the Hammersmith Odeon by Paul McCartney to raise funds for the victims of the wars raging in Cambodia under the reign of Pol Pot. Other artists who took part were The Who, Wings, Elvis Costello, The Clash, and others. Apparently they were broadcast on BBC1, but I can't say I have any memory of watching them.

Hi Mr & Mrs Coach, how are you? I'm loving your Queen reaction here :) this tune is one of their best rock out's and this is the lads at their hard rocking best! Yes, Freddie was in destructive mode but was just being Freddie hehe. There was so much energy in performing this and during Roger & Brian's dvd commentary of their Montreal '81 concert - especially this song, Roger quipped "Oh great, this is just what I need at the end of a show." This concert at the Hammersmith theater in London in 1979 was done on Boxing day (December 26th) and was a benefit concert for Kampuchea (now Cambodia) & the last show before the end of that year. I highly recommend Keep Yourself Alive live in Montreal 1981- it's another fast paced rockfest tune and it's one of the best live versions of it that they've ever done.

Speed metal before it was a thing. Great song and thank you for your reactions. Rockers drop to their knees a lot during shows so that is part of it but also for a brief period of time, knee pads were cool for some reason, perhaps because roller skating was such a big deal. A lot of guitar players wear knee pads under their pants, you can see them when they move around, I know I have seen Slash wearing them and a few others. Brian seemed to be wearing them for a time but he ended up having a knee replacement and since then, he doesn't drop to a knee when he plays, I suspect under advisement of his orthopedic surgeon. Freddie getting mean on the equipment was him poking fun at what was going on with punk groups at the time.

Hi folks! This is the one track I always start with when my (new) fellow headbangers sniff when I mention Queen-those who think they did nothing before "Bohemian Rhapsody". Their first three albums were loaded with heavy stuff (thanks, Doc!) and live it was even better. This one was covered by a metal band called Heathen back, oh jeez, probably 35 years ago and it smokes! And of course, Metallica did their good work, but this one is always the one I start with. And as far as Freddie's live antics go, you shoulda been there when he recreated that most interesting scene from Nijinsky's interpretation of L'Apres-midi d'un Faune". Didn't need a camera, was just burned into my brain. Good times. And for the record, I dig Kool and the Gang, too! Love you guys!

The studio version is far superior to this. Queen were far more a studio band than live, simply because they naturally couldn't recreate on stage what they did in the studio, for so many of their songs. I wish reaction channels would stop watching so many live performances. Music is for listening to.
@CoachCastTV7 ай бұрын
We respect that viewpoint, but we strongly prefer live versions. We believe music is an art and nothing can replace the energy of live performances. We'd take a live over a studio any day as it is more raw, and seeing the connection between the artists and the crowd cannot be replicated in studio versions. Thanks for watching!
