He cut himself in an alley with the glass from a TV he found and smashed in the alley. Ren released 8 chapters leading up to this song if him writing about his struggles since 19 when he caught Lyme disease up through the release of this song. It looks like it will chart tomorrow when the new charts come out. It has over 1.2 million views in the first week! He has 2 new albums coming out this year. One called slaughter house of all collabs which should drop this Summer and one of more straight singing like chalk outlines. Then he is working on a rock album!

With great power comes great responsibility, and Ren is truly a hero! He is using his growing powers and platform for so much more than simply creating brilliant music. Ren has said that he always had this feeling that he was meant to change the world for the better. So much that he defiantly yelled a challenge to evil into an empty room. And then he got sick… Ren has now shared the full story of his health journey in 8 video chapters leading up to the release of this song and what a journey it has been. If anyone hasn’t already watched them, I highly recommend you do. With all the chapters he is showing immense strength in sharing his story that is so hard to tell, being vulnerable and telling it because he hopes it will help others and raise awareness. And here he is with another rendition of that story, now told through music with a fire beat and delivering a message of hope. A beautiful hero that the world needs ❤️🐰🕳️

Youve got to remember, at this same time, as he was going through all this he was also losing really good friends and just so much more. I know everyone goes through stuff, but man. I truly respect him. Check out his story 'missing chapters 1-8. It was a precursor to this song. Great reaction guys

Love how you assume he was shot. It’s not like it never happens but gun crimes are very rare in the uk. Sadly in desperation he cut himself to feel something, to control how he was feeling. It’s so amazing he is still here to lighten the world with his art. Great reaction.

I like the reference to Nas! I think the kiss of cold steel refers to Ren cutting himself in the chest just to see if he could feel. In one of his Chapters (I think 6 or 7) he describes how he smashed a tv & used the glass to cut himself (he took some artistic liberty & called it cold steel instead of glass in the song)
