This started when Ren was 19. He is 34 y.o now and still struggling with the Lyme disease. That's 15 years of struggle. Still have plenty of pain in his legs and his feet's is still hurting. He is still sick and will maybe be sick for the rest of his life. I thought you guys knew that by now. It's a miracle that he is able to make so much music as he does. And have done. But I guess his love for music and making music, has been his relief. And to never give up, because the word "hope", means everything to him. And the beauty of this is that he says "lord I forgive you", instead of "forgive me lord". 😉

After having listened to Ren's Chapter Series Intently and multiple times, this track just encapsulates his story so well and serves as musical accompaniment for The Chapters. Ren's experiences are very familiar to me to say the least, as is often the case with many of his supporters. Ren's success is so deserved and I do truly hope it continues. Ren is the medicine many of us need. So raw, combined with his naturally emotive performance! Indeed Ren....Your Limo has finally arrived!! As for the hole in his chest, Ren was speaking about self-harming and inflicting pain on oneself just to feel something that oneself controls.
@sigally8 ай бұрын
You caught on to the Raw Thoughts line. His recent tracks foreshadowed his future tracks. So im not sure but i think the next release might be the one he did with Webby. Surely not a coincidence anyway. Ren released this track during ME awareness month, millions missing. This is why he changed his avatar to Missing and removed all of his Insta reels. His life story from age 19-26 is wild and fascinating. It was raw, vulnerable and unfiltered. Like nothing Ive ever seen before. He wrote and filmed his own documentary so it would be accurate. There is a lot of inaccuracy out there with his story.

Ren has said he’s had a tricky relationship with faith, which if you watch the chapters you can’t blame him. My interpretation of the final lines is that he’s coming to peace with God. He’s praying to make him whole. I pray the treatments continue to go well so he can resume life 🙏🏻 He’s still in constant pain and can only eat 5 or 6 foods. He initially thought he would only be in Canada for treatment for 6 months, it’s almost been 1 1/2 years. But I believe he’s also praying that God will use everything he’s been through to help others, to give his suffering a purpose. “This music I give you. The pain that I’ve lived through. Everything I’ve been through is yours to hold.” There’s an inner peace that comes from surrender. He may not be able to prove that God exists (agnostic), but I think he needs to believe that it all can be used for good. But that’s just my interpretation.

Being agnostic means that you don't think it is possible to know if any god or higher power exist. In Rens case, he is agnostic but believes that something might exist. He describe in one of the chapters that he looked for answers and relief (to his sickness) in several religious groups, but never could accept their actual beliefs because of his agnostic mindset. But he still believes there might be something .. You can also be an agnostic atheist (like I am), meaning you don't think it is possible to know but don't believe any god exist.

You two should consider listening to his ‘story’ - he finished a segment a day for 8 days prior to this drop, which sort of wraps it all up. Not something you’d probably want to do in a reaction - but listening to all of it will give you an excellent understanding of Ren, and where he’s coming from on many of his songs. And, as others have said, during all of his years of suffering - trying to find out what was wrong with him - trying multiple types of treatments, he was online on blogs and telling others who were following along that he would do what he could to support all of them if/when he came out of the dark hole he, and many others are in (it’s what his story series and this song is.. ‘HOPE’ for others! Oh.. and I think you were wrong on his comment about cold steel. I don’t believe he was talking about suicide with a gun, rather that he had cut himself with a steel blade - just so he could feel something. Great reaction.. and can’t wait for you and others to be able to react to the new album he’s working on.. sounds like it will be ‘music-music’!

Agnostic is he isn't sure if he believes or doesn't believe... it could be possible there's a God, but he can't prove it or fully believe in it. The way I hear the last line is "I forgive you, I lived through it, and now I'm gonna give it back to you to dwell on because I refuse to continue dwelling" that way, if there is a God (in his mind) it's God's burden to carry now because he carried it as long as he did. It's hard to explain, but makes sense in my mind lol. #hope

To really heal from something and come to terms, you mustn't hold on to past grudges and pain. For this is weighing you down. I can imagine that in the prime of his life, feeling so terribly ill, confused, and angry about the extremes and duration. You can start to wonder why would God put me through this, why so long, what is the lesson I should learn from this. And maybe even blame God for it all. Either way, if he is religious or not. If he held a grudge or not. In a way he has accepted it. He forgives, his music is his triumph. And what he is been through is not weighing him down anymore. Cause he gives it to God, for him to hold.

I grew up most of my life in church and was very religious. Now I am agnostic so I can explain to you what that means. It means that we can neither confirm nor deny that God exists. We have no proof either way. That doesn’t mean that we don’t want a god to exist. We just don’t know if there is one. There are versions of people that are agnostic. Some are agnostic atheist that don’t know if God is real, but they don’t think that he is. There are agnostic theists that don’t know if God exists, but they think they’re probably is a God. So there are various levels and belief systems within the agnostic belief. There are also more belief systems other than the two that I explained.
