Voiceplay did several other game videos as well.... Halo Theme, Dragonborn Comes Skyrim, Enemy, My Mother Told Me. Omar sang with them in Dragonborn Comes Skyrim, Superstition, Dream On, Carry On My Wayward Son, Whiskey In The Jar. As well a bunch of shorts. He also joined them when they went to Atlantic City NJ to sing live with the group Chicago for a 2 day concert. He got 4th place on The Voice.

Before Omar was from the Voice, he was (and still is, I believe) Cesar’s room mate.

Apparently Geoff said he doesn't play this game, he just likes the song. In the game it's sung by female voices. They are gamers though and have covered a number of gaming songs and themes. My personal favourite is The Dragonborn Comes. but they're all great. Omar has appeared many times with VP now but the same thing is said about every guest that sings with them. They always fit in so seamlessly.

They went to a new venue with the giant LED screen. All the different colors of eye contacts. Space Pirate shanty. Omar has been in a few VoicePlay videos.

When you get around to reacting to Halo, here's an important tip: Please listen all of the way to the end. The featured singer has something to say that you really DO want to hear.

You've seen Omar before, Dave - at least once already! 😁He was the wood elf in their cover of 'The Dragonborn Comes,' (which I'm reasonably sure you did - or am I imagining that?) and he was also with them for 'Dream On' and 'Carry On Wayward Son.'

This one is fantastic! I'm glad you watched the last little bit and got to see that tiny bit of Behind-the-Scenes and hear Layne on the awesome beat!

Those harmonies were _tight_ tight! Loved this one! I really dig how much you enjoy their music 😁

Geoff's song for March is out on Patreon now (so, soon to be on his channel) and it is a really great version of a well-loved song from a very popular game. Sorry - not supposed to say more, but keep your eyes peeled. They have also just recently done the song "White Night" from 'Honkai Star Rail' in cooperation with the game maker. It is out on TikTok right now.

Omar was also with them in their cover of Dragonborn Comes from Skyrim. If you’re a gamer you might also like their cover of Halo 😊

🧊🔥🧊🔥!! You definitely need to check out their renditions of Halo, The Dragonborn comes (Skyrim), Valhalla Calling (Assassin's creed) and more (as mentioned by others). However... in general just choose your genre and go - they do not disappoint! 🌹🕊

TYSM for the reaction! Voiceplay just did a new Warframe Video that the makers of Warframe sponsered after watching this video. 😊 It's called "Party of a Lifetime". Sorry I don't have the link to place here. I'm on a tablet. But I know you'll love it!!! 😊

Just letting you know... Geoff Castellucci will be premiering his new video "Unshaken" today at noon est. He brought back the 4 ghost riders from "Ghost Riders In the Sky" when they were alive. It is beautiful and epic.

They did a fabulous version of Superstition with Omar! Fun reaction.

I love Voiceplay and their unending creativity! This song itself by itself made me hop back into Warframe after a bit over four years. _Sleeping in the Cold Below_ is featured in the quest The Call of the Tempestarii and getting to that quest is my current goal to experience it in the game.

Love this cover. I have tried to play Warframe, but Skyrim is more my speed. Layne is a beatboxing beast in this cover. YAY!!! It's a space shanty!! Lol. This cover is absolute fire. Great reaction. They also did an amazing cover of Halo (watch till the very end) and The Dragonborn Comes from Skyrim.

From what I’ve read, this is from a side game of the main game and is sort of a lament by one of the main characters. She is the sole survivor of the demolition of her ship. And she is singing to her sisters who have perished. The studio where they filmed this not only had the LED screen behind them, but also the floor is made up of LED tiles. From what I have heard from other commenters a lot of those space shots are real. They’ve done a really good job of coordinating those sudden bursts with the vocals. I think one of my favorite parts though is when Omar is singing in counterpart to everybody else. It was such a surprise since they’re known for their tight harmonies. If you are a gamer, they have quite a few covers that might interest you. They’ve done the following that I’m aware of: We’re Alive from the game Portal, Warriors (originally covered by Imagine Dragons) for League of Legends tourney, a Minecraft mini which is only about a minute long, My Mother Told Me which was used in the game Assassin‘s Creed as well as the television program the Vikings. They also have done Valhalla Calling, also associated with Assassin’s Creed. It is mind blowing. They did a piece for PUBG Mobile, a recent Star Rail mini, the Candy Crush Caravan song mini (hey! I’ve played that one!😂), a piece based on Critical Role and probably a few others of that I’ve missed. And of course HALO. In HALO, Scott Porter (who was the original beatboxer) and Layne Stein (who is the current beatboxer) have a little mini duel with red team / blue team and Layne slaps a blue grenade(?) on Scott. It got kudos from the composer of the song. The Charismatic Voice (reactor/analysis) was interviewing him and showed him what they did and he was very impressed. A long, long time ago they did one of their ACA Top 10’s where they do snippets of 10 songs and they did vlassic old school video game themes. I am not a gamer, but the music is amazing.

Great reaction! I love the way you enjoy the music. I'm not a gamer but love a lot of game music and Voiceplay always delivers . Geoff also has a new one from a pretty popular game coming to public quite soon. Others have mentioned their other game music in the comments.

Gamer!! You really, really ought to listen to VoicePlay's Halo cover. It's EPIC- even the Halo official channel and the composer commented with praise. And I know everyone else is reccing The Dragonborn Comes (from Skyrim), but one of my favorite VoicePlay gaming covers (and one often overlooked by reactors) is Still Alive from Portal. It's one of their older covers, but it's amazing!
@janetdw9 ай бұрын
I have never played any of these games. My style is more like from their top 10 when they had Pong. But I love the Portal one. I’ve heard a lot about the game from other reactors and other other commenters and it sounds really clever and funny. And I just love robot Geoff!
