Thanks for the reaction.Miyako started working with LOVEBITES in 2016. At that time, Miyako was a member of the band 21G in which she played until March 2019. In LOVEBITES, Miyako was a support musician (guest). Until August 2017, LOVEBITES was a 4-member band : Miho, Haruna, Midori and Asami. As a support musician, Miyako participated in the recording of the first "The Lovebites EP" (May 2017). In the spring of 2017, SONIC LOVER RECKLESS was formed, which consisted of Aya Kamiki and Miyako. For the recording and concert, Aya and Miyako used guest musicians (support). That's why in MV it's just the two of them. SONIC LOVER RECKLESS lasted until the end of 2018. The first single from SONIC LOVER RECKLESS "Phoenix" ( 3 songs) was released digitally in September 2017, when Miyako was already a permanent member of LOVEBITES. In December 2018, the CD 'The Phoenix' and the concert DVD (Live, September 14, 2018) SONIC LOVER RECKLESS were released.

Enjoyed the reaction. This was a short lived collaboration between Miyako and Aya before Miyako joined Lovebites. From what I understand, Miyako laid down all the string tracks including bass. If you want to hear some pre-Lovebites Haruna and Miho, check out Destrose.

Sorry, but I want to clarify. Aya and Miyako created SONIC LOVER RECKLESS in 2017a year after Miyako began collaborating with LOVEBITES ( in 2016). In September 2018, SONIC LOVER RECKLESS gave a concert, the DVD of which was released in December 2018. In 2017 -2018, Miyako was a member of 3 bands: 21G (until March 2019), LOVEBITES and SONIC LOVER RECKLESS.

There was a time she was a "support musician" for Lovebites before becoming an official member. She probably had to fulfill another contract before she could officially join. Would it be SLR?

@@snakewhisperer1 I think the reason is not the contracts. 🤔Chronology of events: Miyako began collaborating with LOVEBITES since the formation of the band (May-June 2016). Before this, for several years, Miyako played simultaneously in two bands: A DROP OF JOKER and 21G. Moreover, in A DROP OF JOKER Miyako was the leader. But in 2016, A DROP OF JOKER disbanded (the last concert took place on April 30, 2016). In the late spring - early summer of 2016, Miyako decided to join a new band (as a support musician), which was created by Miho and which later became known as LOVEBITES (since November 2016). At that time, Miyako was a permanent member of 21G and a support member (guest) of LOVEBITES. In August 2017, Miyako became a permanent member of LOVEBITES. She was not prevented from becoming a permanent member by contracts with 21G, in which she played until March 2019, and a contract with SONIC LOVER RECKLESS, in which she was until the end of 2018.🤗

Aya Kamiki heard about Miyako from Natchin of 21g, went to see Miyako play, liked it, and asked her to form a unit. Natchin was the producer of SLR and backed them on bass. Aya was in a band, Uroboros, that featured Takayoshi Ohmura of Babymetal's Kami Band. When SLR did club gigs, they sometimes split the bill with a solo act Aya also had going, with Leda, also of the Kami Band, backing her. Leda backed SLR too.

The reason you don't see any of the other musicians in the MV is because, apart from the drummer, they're all there. Miyako laid down all the guitar tracks, the bass and the keyboards. It's pretty much a one girl band with a singer!

good choice , they were a duo that's why you don't see other musicians but after only one EP they separated "because of too many commitments" and Miyako became an official member of LOVEBITES ,and she also left "a drop of joker" and "21g" other 2 bands she used to play with , once Miyako said that a reason to join LOVEBITES was Asami's voice that she loves 😄

This is a nostalgic look back at Miyako's "final project" just before she became full time with Lovebites back in 2017. I believe they only produced one CD/DVD compilation with 3 songs.

Hi boyzyu. Yes, you are right. This was the only their production. Aya and Miyako, they both were too busy for each own business to continue this project. BTW, the album is still on sale at Amazon Japan.

Yes, 7 strings. 😊 In A DROP OF JOKER and SONIC LOVER RECKLESS, Miyako played 7 string guitars. In 21G and LOVEBITES, Miyako plays 6 string guitars. There is a video of Miyako playing an 8-string guitar (guitar presentation).

Lovebites and Nemophila..imo He's gotta ease into Nemophila..maybe start with Oiran, Raitei, Hypnosis Monsters, Odyssey, Life (with subs) before getting the full onslaught of Dissension, Rise, Revive, Ama-te-tas, Zen and many others..Meanwhile, he's got a long list of amazement coming from the Goddesses of Metal "Lovebites", yet undiscovered..

WHAT A SAD END TO THIS LOVEBITES Journey To The Otherside kzbin.info/www/bejne/jaukcodtq8x-nZo With backing vocals and the quiet Miyako getting into it ALSO copied from another post This was the first time Lovebites played this venue, Miho's father used to take her there for concerts and was supposed to be there but passed a few months before it took place. What a true professional Miho is that she could play through that song while being so visibly hurting. Asami was emotional as well.

There are actually three guitar tracks in this and Miyako plays all of them. Yes, this was a project that could have become a regular thing but Miyako chose to focus on Lovebites. Can's say I am complaining! But it's definitely cool to see another side of her.

OK, so Miyako's guitar is a brand called Strictly 7. They are/were an American company who had major quality control issues with their guitars and led to them going bankrupt. When they went bankrupt, they screwed many people, who had already paid for their custom guitars to lose their money and guitars. After the bankruptcy they moved the company to Japan and started handing out guitars to players to get their name out. Unfortunately the Q C problems have persisted and the brand does not have a good reputation. These guitars don't sell well on the used market. Sorry for the extended answer but I work in the industry and know a bit about this brand.
