I had so much fun trying to sync up The Warning videos from "When I'm Alone" Pepsi Center and TedX. They were different speeds and I had to slow down the TedX video to match the CDMX video. It took over an hour.

I felt like a rockstar the other day. I was wearing my The Warning tshirt at the grocery store. Keep in mind I live in Texas. (Texas dates? Come on girls!!!) A mexican gentleman walked up to me and we started talking about the warning. He mentioned how huge they are in mexico and I agreed. We chatted a bit and parted ways. We met again on the next aisle. He said can I take your picture? I want to send it to my family in Mexico. I was like sure thing! I threw up some horns and he got his shot. I felt like a frikkin rockstar.

Good Afternoon, I'm back from The Warning Concert in Pomona CA. There were 800 Warning fans having to great time. Luckily I was on the balcony, so I had a good view of the band. The mix and sound system was excellent. The fans were amazing all here for one reason The Warning. ⚡🤘 Dany wrote this song at 15yrs old at Berkeley School of Music. This was an assignment so she wrote how homesick she was. This is the longest time the 3 of them been away from home. Ellen Degeneres help them with a donation and there is a vlog of them there on Ellen Tube.

That Dany is able to empathize with the audience BECAUSE she wrote "When I'm Alone" from within her heart of despair, loneliness and fear of failure, is a testament to her soul. I believe her sisters share a similar empathy in their performing, their writing and their relationships. I cannot, however, refer to them as "girls" even though at 71 they are young enough to be my granddaughters. Instead, over the course of not just their growth as The Warning, but life, environment, challenges, disappointments, haters, lovers and all they have experienced has revealed them as passionate, creative, talented, professional, compassionate, dedicated, wise, human and powerful women. What they continue to become is exactly what they wrote about in "Evolve:" "It's not destruction, it's rebirth" because "Pain is the price to survive, to evolve."

The "Mayday, mayday" chorus/ bridge gets stuck in my head for days. I feel privileged for that. It's such a great song and delivered with perfection by Dany. Another song on the "A" list for me is Amour. Powerful song. Paulina's drumming is so spectacular on this song that I couldn't bear to address her using a shortened version of her name.

Well, Animosity is definitely on my very top songs of The Warning (I cover it singing and playing the guitar), but it's kind of hard to decide cause they've many incredible songs and their live performances are amazing, Crimson Queen for example blows my mind, and in lunario presentation... my God (Dany... please). I discovered The Waring earlier this year (but I had probably seen their "Enter Sandman" when it viral in 2014). I had seen references to the band in the comments to other song reactions, and finally gave TW a go. I was instantly hooked. It is fun to note that these three young Mexican women could easily be the children - or even grandchildren - of many of their fans (I'm 59). It's a testament to their greatness when they have fans across the generations, making music that speaks to all ages.

Great reaction guys. Animosity has always been one of my favorite songs from them too. Just something about it that gets me hyped every time I hear it. The two Mexico City Shows are already sold out for the 10,000 seat auditorium, but you might get lucky and find 2 somehow. In my book there is no top or bottom when it comes to TW songs. They are all great! But, depending on what I need at the moment, hits different. When I'm revengeful or mad at some one, Animosity, Narcisista and six feet deep are the songs i listen to with joy. This is one of my favorites and has been since the beginning, but as I said it depends on the day, my mind set and the performance if it´s the song of today. I like the transitions, the fierceness it sometimes is delivered with, tempo changes, Ale´s bass slides, I like the backstory and the GFY message Pau delivers to the haters. It´s definitively one of the best songs but they have about 60 of them now, so I can´t rate it more than this. The Warning are my addiction and any sound they produce makes me satisfied and happy. Side note: It´s so fun to see when Dany sings "No, I won´t let it go" prior to Ale´s bass slide in Animosity, you can se Pau forming the words with her mouth and putting on a stank face. When I´m alone: In my book this is not a TW song, it´s all Dany. She wrote it and it´s her passion and feelings expressed through it. The rest of the band is not needed because Dany delivers it with all that is needed every time. I love her acoustic sets, and I like the Metropolitan version with all of The Warning coming in after her solo singing. but what I love the most is the crowd singing after the silence. But, as I said I don´t consider it a Warning song so I can´t rank it more than it is very good and performed by DPA (mostly D) it is always good.

Must definitely you need to come to next year's Mexico shows, there are still tickets for Guadalajara and Monterrey, both cities have international air connectivity, world class accomodations, great gastronomy and nice places to visit if you want to use the opportunity to do some tourism. Two very different cities in their character though, so if you do plan to stay more days it would be good you look them up first to see which one suits you better. Both cities are safe too as long as you don't go off the beaten path. Hope you can make it, I will be at one of the Mexico City shows and I'm sure all of them will be memorable.
