I've been in K-pop for a very long time and I think it's a mistake to accuse babymonster of lip-syncing. BM is, in my opinion, one of the most outstanding new bands in terms of singing skills.

These guys don't know what lip syncing means. Singing over backtrack while doing choreography is common, not singing at all and pretending to sing is lip-syncing. Most k-pop groups don't use backtrack when they are not dancing. You can watch 'its live' show where all groups just sing and don't dance.

Baemon was born to sing live, even when they debuted all the idols who were actually lip-syncing were scrutinized and compared to BABYMONSTER's live skills. For example, their performance last night was trending everywhere, could attract new fans, was talked about because of its amazing vocals and visuals, even many of those who watched live and some local Korean media covering the event said that they did not deserve to be called newcomers, they were more worthy of being called seniors because of their live singing ability and spectacular performance.
