People call the stylist God-Nayoung bcs of all the outfits vixx had ever worn were awesome! And also their fandom calls starlight and this fandom had known for well behaved!Vixx didn’t even need to hire bodyguard whenever they had scheduled bsc the fans keep their way from them! And yes for milky way, they purposely gather all fans to shoot the MV, and the fans who attend it even keep secrets all the fancams and photos for months untill the MV drop! Yeah, Scentist is pretty confusing without any context haha (btw it's a combo of scent and artist) It's my general understanding that it's based on a book (Perfume: The Story of a Murderer) about an orphan with an amazing sense of smell. He becomes a perfumer and serial kills girls for their scents. Makes the mv a bit creepier lol

Milky Way is a fan song written for the collected Greek gods trilogy box set. They filmed the MV with a bunch of Starlights and there is no staff between them and the fans even as they walked through the crowd, and there wasn't a hint of this having been made until it was Officially Dropped on their channel. It's a good showing of how Starlights interact with VIXX alot. Scentist's storyline is based off of the story/movie Perfume: Story of a Murderer which is about someone who fell in love with the scent of a woman, killed her because he didn't want anyone to ruin her scent and then started killing other women to use them to recreate her scent. It's not as detailed as is Error but Error is it's own movie really.

I read other comments and everyone already explained and gave lots of info about all other mvs you've reacted but error. So, let me write down the story of it. Hongbin ( the main character in mv) was human and works in a cyborg factory at the begining of the story. He had a girlfriend ( also human) and they were quite happy. But then she got sick and died. Hongbin couldnt handle with the pain of her death so he just wanted to forget everything about her to get away of that pain. So, he turn himself into a cyborg because cyborgs wasnt allowed to have feelings or memories. It worked and he was happy again but one day they brought a cyborg to the factory for recover. The cyborg was look like Hongbin's gf and it made him to remember all his memories again. Then he uploaded his memories to her. But since its not allowed they came to take her away. There was no option except dying together so they suicide together but just one heart left behind. For me , it means that you can destroy even yourself but you cant destroy the love itself. Loved your reaction, and I feel you lol Error is hard to compete with when it's so cinematic, definitely one of my favs. Plus it's hilarious that everyone reacts the same way to Ravi's hat, even Ravi himself! There was a high-touch event once where a fan wore a tinfoil hat to greet them and they all almost died laughing xD Also, everyone has their preferences between Vixx's more plot-based vs their more abstract/symbolic MVs, but what I appreciate so much is that they still uphold their concept-dol title by never letting their aesthetics just be "aesthetic" for the sake of it. In Chained Up, the concept is pretty evident in that they are “slaves to love” and are "chained up" to their lover. The song describes the feelings/struggle of not being able to leave a relationship, and coming back to their lover each time in the end even if they try not to. But Vixx concepts also usually have an extra layer to them that can be open for interpretation, and for this one the different rooms shown in the MV seem to symbolize and represent how each member feels trapped or chained by this relationship. Ken (flowerbox) feels like he is only on display in the relationship; N (shattered mirror) feels like their relationship is just for show; Hyuk (staircase that leads to nowhere) feels like his love is achieving nothing and therefore feels stuck. Hongbin (flooded water room) feels like he is drowning; Leo (gold chains) feels like he is trapped; and Ravi (the white sheets) feels lost and can’t find the way out. Each of them are trapped in their own maze and in the end of the mv, they escape for awhile, but only to return. There are also the bdsm undertones which are... interesting to say the least lmao. The album actually came with a love slave contract and everything! Scentist is a made up word for scent+artist btw, and as for Milky Way, Hyuk and Ravi actually wrote and composed this song to thank the fans for all their support that year throughout the conception trilogy (title tracks being Dynamite, Fantasy, The Closer)! The fanmeeting they held for it really was predominantly just so they could spend time goofing off and having fun together for this filming, and fans that attended really kept it all under lock and key until the MV itself was released, no photo/fancam leaks at all! It's called Milky Way since VIXX fans are called Starlights :)

I think both Error and Fantasy have the same "impactful and memorable" vibe to them in terms of musicality. Tho my favorite VIXX titles are Dynamite and Shangrila, my go-to songs whenever I want to show VIXX to a new listener are definitely Error and Fantasy, they both have a special place in my heart.

I love Chained Up so much. Each of the members solo shots can be interpreted to show how they feel trapped in a relationship. I also really love the bdsm undertones and they were the group who popularised chokers and suit with no shirt in kpop. Chained up was the main introduction of bdsm aesthetics into kpop, mostly in the form of chokers and leather harnesses.

Actually..there's a story behind RAVI's hat In 'Wizard of Oz', there was a character called 'The Tin Man'... That guy, spend his life thinking he has lost his heart(emotions). I ERROR , Hongbin trued to become a robot, so he wont suffer from losing his love anymore... And when he wakes up as a robot, he was neutral until he saw his love AND EVERYTHING CAME BACK N is singing ' I saw you again, I cried, Something terribly went wrong,My heart is still remembering you' ... *referring to the fact that actually he should not remember and CRY for her after becoming a ROBOT* RAVI is wearing a hat like what The Tin Man was wearing to show even though he thinks he has no heart any longer, his heart is still there and still loves her

Leo’s got two albums with touch & sketch and romanticism, hyuk has two mini and his song boy with a star has been covered a lot (cause it’s awesome), Ken has for those who have to endure on his solo and vocals insanity, Ravi is ceo of his own label and doing variety shows as a regular as well as being the 3rd top copyright in kpop for songs. More than half of them have done dramas that are good. Not just bias. Lol but currently Leo, Ken, Hongbin are in all in military. (Hongbin was pressured out the group by antis for saying he didn’t like a mash up on his twitch just before enlistment) vixx is 6 and hakyeon recently finished his enlistment and while remains as part of vixx has signed with a different company.

What is going on - 2 reactors that I subscribe to reacting to VIXX on the same day!! In my opinion Error is one of the best kpop songs & MVs period (it made me cry the first time I watched it!). One thing though the last song is called Scentist not Scientist. It is a word VIXX made up combining scent & artist because the MV is supposed to be based on a book called Perfume which is about a man who murdered women to try & create the perfect scent. So they are basically all playing killers in the MV!!

I didn't realize you had reacted to VIXX last month too so I had to go watch that video before this one! They're one of my all-time favorite groups. 😭 I sincerely hope the part two reaction will include Shangri-La (one of the most beautiful MVs ever), G.R.8.U (one of the most unique and fun MVs ever), and On and On (one of VIXX's most iconic bops and choreographies--though it'd be better to watch a live performance because the MV is really cringeworthy and 2013-esque 😅). Honestly they have so many incredible title tracks as well as side tracks--I could sit here and recommend song after song. I hope you'll explore their discography and performances more in your personal time (including their Japanese stuff--since you like strings I highly recommend checking out the Depend on Me MV)! Leo has two solo albums (with two MVs) that are worth exploring as well imo! And maybe watch a better guide, because that one was a bit... 😬 P.S. Youre wrong, he didnt say he didnt like an exo song, it was on twitch (he had a drunk broadcast due to request for 1 year twitch anniversary) where he listens to all his streamers requests and some people send him mash up songs of idols x band songs and he said he didnt like these mash ups why do people do it and people felt like it was a "dont like this group songs" kinda diss when hes pretty close to the idols in the songs. He apologized many times on multiple platforms but still people were coming for him so, they pushed him to a corner so he had to leave.

Someone already explain about what did happen basically so let me explain what he said about exo. He listened Exo' s song " wolf" and he enjoyed while listening and even said Kyungsoo is cute etc. Then after it ends he said its a werewolf concept and Vixx had a vampire concept back that era ( on and on mv by vixx is a vampire concept) and he said " you know vampires won agains wolfs back then, would you think wolf will win this time? I dont think so. Vampires would win it again" this was a "Twilight" joke because that era actually the year twilight was popular ( thats why Vixx made on and on) If you want proof, vixx didnt win anything with on and on. XD) Thank you for your reaction, I always love seeing more VIXX! You watched a performance for Shangri-La on Patreon (and I do recommend seeing the MV sometime! It is peak 'aesthetic' VIXX and the aesthetic is...immaculate) so this is your first time with Scentist! (You will get multiple corrections for calling it Scientist. Sorry. Yay, more VIXX! I'm glad you're still enjoying their stuff. ^^ And uh... yeah, Chained Up was kinda done dirty by putting it RIGHT after Error, aka one of the best things VIXX has ever done in their entire careers. I mean, don't get me wrong, I don't dislike Chained Up, it's catchy, I like the aesthetics of the MV, and chokers are an awesome fashion accessory, but I do think it's rather overrated and pales in comparison to Error. (Seriously of all the VIXX songs to go viral, why did it have to be THAT one. Now the general kpop public just knows VIXX as "that kinky group" if they know them at all, and as someone who ults the single most conceptually diverse group in all of Kpop, having them constantly be reduced to a throwaway punchline is very frustrating. 🙄)

We can focus on the music, on the story and still find Ravi's hat funny, that doesn't mean we are disrespecting their music or that we have to "grow up". When the MV was released, I remember I had tears on my eyes while watching because the storyline was so sad, but still, whenever Ravi appeared on the screen with that hat, I couldn't help myself but laughed a little. We all have different experiences when we watch something, if your first reaction watching the MV was to have a poker face when you saw Ravi with that weird hat, then good for you. I've been a Starlight for 8 years and I don't get offended when new people find Ravi's hat funny. Just chill really. Besides, Kaia's favorite song was error, EVEN with Ravi's hat in it, so I don't see the problem here 😂
