Hi John thanks for your reaction to my cover and thanks for sharing, it’s a pleasur, I saw your comments just now 🙏 Indeed the song as I mentioned on my KZbin channel is a cover of the original song caravan to Baghdad from Hamid baroudi, the song was in solidarity with iraki people while the gulf war was happening. As an Algerian myself too, I grew up listening to this song, it rocked my childhood with the melody and lyrics as well, as a lot of Algerians i guess, and I always wanted to cover it my way, addin’ to it my touch in an instrumental version, so I remade the whole song, programming the drums, keys and other instruments etc. Some people here saying I’m a thief, Iguess they have no idea about the concept of a cover 😄

I thought you did a great job. And yes, there must be some confusion as to what a cover is. To be honest, and I'm probably going to get some hate comments, I like your version better. It's just a cover of a song. Many musicians do it. It probably helps as you're learning to play. I think his fantastic guitar work could be used in the original song and it would improve the rock sound. Just my opinion of course.
