This emotional song is about the bullying in school and society, while the original song (of 20 years ago by a famous Chinese pop singer Julin) was to memorise a bullied victim of young boy in Taiwan. Two singers express the support for the bullied victims using their own experience. One focusing on the self-recognition and self-achievement for various different personality, the other one focusing on the self-defence against the bullying, their performance touches the audience at the stage and the public in general. They have done amazing job and and their performance is very meaningful for the general public.

The original lyrics of this song was talked about a boy in Taiwan who was bullied by his schoolmates and classmates and finally the boy dead. The song used to commemorate the boy. This new lyric seems to be standing from “survivor” who are still suffering from bullying like Zhou Shen and Gai (another singer of this song) and saying their statement (they are unique and they will not surrender to anyone who try to kick them down)…. Shen Shen also cried after he sang this song. I love this song so much.

@rjh0929 0 seconds ago Rose Boy, A 15yo boy in 2000, thought to be too "effeminate" was found dead in his school's bathroom in a pool of blood . Dismissed by police and society as an accident. His mother fought to bring acceptance under law for LBGTQ youth in Taiwan and won. He is our equivalent of Mathew Shepard. Zhou Shen and Gai not only pay tribute to Yeh Yung-Chih but it is also about what both Zhou and Gia have had to endure. Zhou especially, Gia is tough he "doesn't care" but his respect for Zhou and others that are "different" is apparent in this. What they both want is for us to accept people for who they are. I give a big hug two both Zhou and Gia.
