I recommend “Snow Flower” it’s along the lines of “Sweet Night” and “Christmas Tree” but us not an OST it was written by V and Peaky boy and is a little bit more upbeat and fun and has more vocal switches you guys will enjoy but also. Peak boy is a rapper and producer and part of Vs friend the “Wooga Squad” which includes Park Seo Joon and other of his actor friends.

V is a character. I have noticed with him it's all about creating a mood. In Winter Bear he has very few lyrics but adds instrumental. And you feel lethargic and it hits you probably as he intended. Here too he allows music not just lyrics to set the mood. He loves music pure and simple and how it makes him feel. Many people do. Im sure many artists do. But not as many create songs that don't follow the normal patterns... which he does. You have no idea how the song will go. I loved absolutely loved his album so hope you get there one day. At this rate, maybe 2026. 😂

V's about the music. He makes sure the music takes centre stage. His vocals are strong and warm. And the emotions come across so well. Btw V's collaborating postmouthsly with Bing Crosby on A White Christmas. Dropping on Dec 6. The interesting thing about this collaboration is that Bing Crosby estate is promoting the song. The family approved of V's version and are very happy for V to do this. Bing Crosby has been V's idol forever. The estate has always been supportive of V's singing of Bing Crosby songs. This is a monumental collaboration just for the music. V doesn't chase charts. He brings the music. As you explore V' solo work before his album and indeed his album itself it's a celebration of the music. Music takes centre stage. It's a partnership. V's vocals and the music, the instruments. That's the beauty of V. You see the respect for the music. And he has always said that he wants people to enjoy the music. That's why I'm here.

This is from a soundtrack of the drama "Itaewon Class". V's friend Park Seojoon plays the lead. There is some parts where V layers harmonizing with himself like the 2nd verse and other parts where there is a female background vocal. Matilda Mann posted on Insta she did some background vocals tho I think there is some confusion cuz she's not listed on any credits that I've seen if so let me know where to look. A lot of people assumed it's Adora who does a lot of background vocals for BTS and she's listed on the credits, she was a Big Hit producer that now has left to start her own company and debut as an artist herself. They still work with her from time to time she did background vocals on Agust D "D-Day" album on the song "SDL" and even sung backup live vocals during his Agust D's Final D-Day Concert in Seoul.

Sweet Night is a truly independent song since the soundtrack was not requested from Hybe but rather the male lead Park Seojoon of the drama ``ITAEWON CLASS`` personally requested V to compose a song for the drama's soundtrack. The drama's director asked Park Seojoon to talk to V because they are both best friends (Park Seojoon is a member of V's best friends group. The group is known as ``WOOGA``). That's why I classify this work of V as INDEPENDENT like independent films, where everything from the composition of the melody, the arrangement, lyrics, and instruments, ALL THE MUSIC PRODUCTION WAS COMPLETELY IN CHARGE OF V. HE MADE THE ENTIRE SONG. AND I THANK GOD THAT THE HYBE MONOPOLY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CREATION OF THIS SONG BECAUSE IT WOULD HAVE RUINED THIS SONG. IT WOULD NOT BE THE SAME. FOR ME, IT IS A BELLISIMA SONG PERFORMED BY A MASTERFUL KIM TAEHYUNG.

I think V’s solo work both within BTS albums and his on solo projects are the most diverse and interesting although they all rock. V’s vocal range is the widest. You need to see his lover performances of Singularity and Stigma to fully appreciate his charisma, stage presence, dancing and vocals. V’s voice just sounds better live.
