The boys have said that j-hope is like water--he sort of adapts to fill the space he needs. So you'll notice in BTS songs he often has a part that's structurally or melodically unique. He's creative and he has a lot of tools in his bag. He can sing sing--like falsettos, strong belts, great vibrato, great pitch--and he can RAP RAP--fast, mellow, melodic, staccato, old school, trap--he's kind of a jack of all trades and he has a very distinct tone and accent. He's a fantastic performer and the Dance Leader of the team (he was a national champion in hip hop dance before BTS) and you can tell he writes his stuff in a way that makes people move--incredible flow and musicality. He has fun with it and you never know what you're going to get from him. It makes him a very exciting artist to stan. :)

The song was written by V Kim Taehyung to be part for his debut album but members liked it and rap parts were added, TAE #V also co-produced and the original song is full in English, it was released on pandemic time, blue and grey came to give you that comfort hug without judging you, there is time for cry, to feel bad but also times to recovery, this is what means for a lot of us. ❤

This song was written by V on their 2020 album BE during the coronavirus pandemic in quarantine. For me it reflects so well the desperation,the depression,the restlessness when you are confined to your house for a long period of time with no end in sight. A beautiful song with so much emotion and meaning. One of my favourites to this day.

The synthetic sounding sound (sorry for the alliteration) was created by NIve (also know as Park Ji-Soo) out of his own voice. I love hearing your analysis of BTS songs. As you are realizing by now BTS, as a group covers an amazing range of styles in their music. And as soloists, we see them expand even further. BTS are truly seven stars that form their own constellation in the galaxy that is our lives. AS for Recommendations: Louder Than Bombs is an amazing song, which they have never performed live (RM once said it would be difficult to do so) Crystal Snow, one of their Japanese songs is beautiful - listen out for the Triple High note (I wonder if you can identify who sings it); Mikrokosmos is another group song with a message, and cosmic vocals. Danger, is an earlier BTS song, but still a favourite. There is the original version, plus Danger (Mo Blue Mix) featuring Thanh, which just shows how the same song can have completely different feelings. Just one day, another early song with beautiful vocals - and a we see a different side of the Rap Line. Born Singer, both the original version from 2013, and the version released on their "Proof" album in 2022. (It's a remix of J-Cole's Born Sinner). Black Swan, another beautiful song with a painful meaning. Honestly, I could list their entire discography - but I won't. For Solo songs within BTS: Jin - Epiphany; Autumn Outside The Post Office (cover); Awake; Moon Suga - Seesaw; Shadow; First Love; The Last J-Hope - MAMA; Just Dance; Boy Meets Evil; Ego RM - Trivia Love; Reflection; Persona; Jimin - Serendipity; Promise; Filter V - Singularity; Winter Bear; Someone Like You (cover) Jungkook - Begin; Euphoria; Falling (cover) And so many more.

For me, Tae has the most unique voice of the BTS singers. He is a natural velvet baritone, but he can sing very high, his high notes sound very strong. And Tae voice is unique too and the song is written by V by the way
@CelesteChew-cq7eu2 ай бұрын
@ncstar0 Yes. Indeed he wrote this beautiful song, which shows that he is immensely talented and adorable. Tae has a gorgeous fantastic baritone bass and a low register voice. He is one of the best baritones in the group. His baritone was spectacular, for Boy in Luv, Ma City and many of their songs, where his growls and low bass shined. However, I personally do not think much of his high notes and high register sound, although he does deserve credit for trying and training himself to sing proficiently, high notes. The other three members in the vocal line are way better sounding and more proficient in the high register notes. His diction and pronunciation is really poor and garbled for English, as in goodnight becoming goognigh. His voice is really gorgeous but his tone is not unique. In the group and in fact the KPop industry, only Jimin and RM, have the most unique voice tone, timbre and color. All I am saying, is my point of view and is never ever a criticism or put down of Tae. JK, Jin and Jimins' voices were better in this song. Watch the performance where there is a part when Tae was harmonizing with Jimin, and they switched, Tae did the high register and Jimin did the low and medium register, it will help you understand what I am saying. Tae's intro and outro was very beautiful for this song.

Can I say that, quite often, the translations on these lyric videos are not always accurate. For instance, the penultimate lines from Jin should read ‘In the distant future, when I get to smile, I’ll tell you that there was such a time’. V’s last line should read ‘After secretly collecting words that wander in the void, now I fall asleep, at dawn, goodnight’ - nothing at all about a horse!!!
