The casting was spot on. They all resemble the actors in the official films, particularly Remus and Pettigrew. Zach actually mimicked Pettigrew so well, I had no trouble imagining they were the same person! It was nice seeing Sirius before he became unhinged in Azkaban, he was great! And James, he was just like I had imagined him, same frickin’ voice even! Same with Lily, she was terrific. And Snape. He nailed the walk J.K. Rowling described and was really quite scary and sympathetic at times! So perfect. I love this production. It’s truly a work of art. These guys are iconic.

Mick Ignis gave one of the greatest performances that I have seen in quite awhile. He is in every way Severus and it's unfortunate Alan Rickman didn't get the opportunity to witness Micks performance which is on pare and a wonderful tribute to the character which he plays. Truly a stand out actor.

So impressive of him to do so much of the choreography for this thing. Is it right that he knows how to wield a sword? And he even had some familiar style to Gary Oldman during the duels! No kidding! As for Mick being a humble guy, that is easy to tell from what one can find online. And that he is very talented in all the stuff he does, he has blown me away with the stuff I've seen so far. And I do not accept any acting, I want quality. I wish him & all the cast & crew of this film to get ahead in their careers now because of this because they deserve it. I dearly hope they will be more discovered now. If the industry will only let them I think this lovely gang can get very far. Mick especially should be allowed to advance in his career, if he so wishes. The trick is just that someone must open the door & let them come through, that someone being the ones that run the industry. Will they even notice or care about a fan film on KZbin? Even if it truly is the best fan film ever made?

I agree, this cast, along with writer/director Justin Zagri and producer Liana Minassian are not only really talented people but seem like some genuinely nice folks. Not a single ego on display in that room, they were all excited for each other and over and over again heaped praise on the people working behind the scenes. That's real class. And the score? Holy crap, kudos to composer Alexander Arntzen, that score is badass!

I'm sure Alan Rickman (God rest his soul) would be very proud of this Fan Film and Mick Ignis portraying him as Severus Snape!! And as Paul Stanko (Remus Lupin) said this is now canon for the Harry Potter Saga. I also think J.K. Rowling is pretty proud of this fan film Justin Zagri (The Writer & Director) has created, I'm certain she's seen it, as well as other actors from the movies!! This is now a LEGENDARY FILM THAT MUST BE ADDED TO MY HARRY POTTER FILM COLLECTION...as well as "THE GREATER GOOD - HARRY POTTER - DUMBLEDORE AND GRINDELWALD" film that Justin created also!!! And I must add, I never truly saw James Potter in that light, even in the books and film when Snape tells Harry about how tormenting his father was to him, I never really...I shouldn't say believed it, but I never really got it although it was a brief flashback in the Order of The Phoenix Movie. This film totally cements that image of James Potter in my head now! Yes, he was brave, but he was also a completely asshole! It's sad to say, but I felt rather good seeing him get his ass beat like that by Severus lol! He deserved every bit of it!!! But only thing I didnt like about this fan film is how immature they made James even tho he just graduated Hogwarts. He matured his seventh year at Hogwarts when he got with lily! It says in the HP BOOKS that James matured so much that even Dumbledore noticed and made him head boy. That's why he became head boy bc he wasnt going after snape and other classmates anymore. Only went after Snape if snape came at him first. In this film, they made it where James just wanting to go mess with snape just because hes a bully and IMMATURE.....so doesnt go with HP books canon.

@Em motooka It's one thing to be a prankster and joker but James already knew Severus was an outcast for favoring the dark arts and being brilliant, he's already ostracized by his peers and you already know he's not outgoing. To continue to prank and play practical jokes on a person like that is not just immature, it can be seen as bullying, tormenting and quite frankly choosing the word I used in my above comment "Asshole". i think even in the books and the film Vincent Crabbe died from using that cursed fire spell, one person that cast the spell totally obliterated everything in its path including the caster (crabbe died from using it) and an Horcrux. what i dont understand that four individuals that cast this cursed fire spell had no repercussions, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

I personally have always loved the Marauders, especially Remus and I have to say each of you nailed it. So did the actors who played Snape and Lily. Best part hands down is the wall of fire. I AM BEYOND IMPRESSED, IM FLABBERGASTED!!!! Not only is this insanely well produced, written and directed, but all of the acting was very impressive! I especially enjoyed the screening and the part where the actor playing Severus starting mouthing his lines. It just drive home how dedicated the actors were to this project. I will be keeping an eye on the lot of you and hope I can help any projects in the future especially if you have a kickstarter page. Magnificent work ladies and gentlemen!

1:06 between the actors of Lily and Sirius (so awkward lol) 13:02 “yeeeyahyahyahyah” Just imagine walking past 5 grown men in the woods waving “wands” at each other and you just hear Snape’s voice “There will be no foolish wand waving...” lol just imagine what they had to go through to film those scenes, trying not to laugh as they waved fancy sticks at each other, it’s like they were little 8 year old Harry Potter fan girls and boys pretending to hex, jinx and curse each other in their front lawn. I know I'm late to the game, but I'm just now seeing this and it was AMAZING!!!!! Something I noticed and I'm not sure if this was intentional or not was the way the actors handled their wands. Their personalities really showed. James was forceful and aggressive, very "jock" like, Sirius was smooth, graceful and laid back, Remus was careful with an air of maturity and maybe remorse, and Peter had strokes that were more like stabs and twitchy like he was full of fear and had no clue what he was doing. Severus was very precise and practiced like a perfectionist. I also loved that Remus didn't participate in the chanting of "Snivellus". Lily's entrance at the end of the fight was friggin awesome. She looked like an angel. Foreshadowing, perhaps? The "I hope to see you again" line broke my heart. One question, though (and this does not take away from how amazing this was and how much I enjoyed this production) since this obviously took place before Voldemort tried to kill Harry, would he have looked like that? I can't remember if his appearance was a result of splitting his soul so many times or if he just turned out that way when he came to full form in GOF. Either way, the final reveal was really great. Oh My Goodness, this was so good!!!!!

I am literally in tears of laughter right now. This cast kills me and is the best cast I swear. This was excellently done, amazing job David and Liana I am so sad I just now found this video.. Literally in tears on how Dani is almost hitting Mick's leg the entire time. Garrett is cussing and saying how everything hurt. Paul was just freaking out during the entire thing and Kevin looked like he was about to have a heart attack. Such an amazing movie, amazing group of people and just an amazing project!! x So inspired and so happy I was brought back to my childhood

That was absolutely one of the best fan film. It is flawlessly original and so well acted. I'm so blown away . Everyone of the people involved in this production will go on to greatness in whatever field they decide to pursue. BRAVO,WELL DONE. What more can be said?
