I was there! They're simply one of the best, if not the best band to watch live! Thank you Dei for continuing to recommend these CH songs! The old fan group called us 'Crowdies' 😊

I was kind of having fun by calling them "The House" as that's what Travis and Suzi called them in a previous reaction. I tried sooo very hard to get tickets to this concert but failed. I could only watch it on TV. I saw them there live in 1996 with Paul on drums, so I can't complain too much... :)

I remember seeing somewhere that their late, great drummer Paul Hester said this was his favourite Crowdies song.

Great lyrics about infidelity...last line is the killer.....'don't tell...' From memory, Neil tells a story about how his wife first heard the song and was horrified as it could only be written by someone who had been in that situation. 'Guilty get no sleep in the last long hours of the morning...'

React to Don McGleashan, another on NZ’s best songwriter/singers, ‘I will not let you down’ is similar to this song of Neil’s

Suzi (spelling?) seemed totally enthralled by this ballad. Lyric inspired by a TV preacher after an L.A. earthquake, saying something like when you go into temptation the earth will rebell.

Guys, as good as this version is, the studio version (IMHO) is far better. Greater depth and 'feel' with the instrumentation, and Neil's voice is on point!
