The song is a very ancient Russian folk song. It's about a girl who wants to marry but her mother and father is dead so she goes to the river to ask for the blessing for her marriage. Diana sings the heck out of it for sure.

I’m a middle aged man & I’m a huge Diana Ankudinova fan! I was a hooked, lined & sinker! From what I gathered from comments from other fans, “Rechenka” means “River”. The song is about a young girl about be married and everyone is strangers to her. Only the horses she tends to are familiar to her. No living family to give her hand away in marriage. She goes to the river, a gateway to the spirit world, to ask for blessings from deceased family spirits. Loved your reaction & comments. You've reacted to Dimash and Diana now, but there is a 3rd singer from the area. Daneliya Tulishova from Kazakhstan (like Dimash). I have been following this young lady since she was on The Voice Kids Ukraine a couple of years ago, Junior Eurovision 2018 and then she was on The Worlds Best last year. She has some stiff competition but she should do well on AGT currently airing. She auditioned with Tears Of Gold "Faouzia". She has experimented and done well with different styles of music. You will find her multitalented. One more very talented singer is from Norway. Angelina Jordan! Angelina was on America's Got Talent The Champions earlier this year. She won Norway's Got Talent when she was 8. And yes I spread the word about Diana to Angelina and Daneliya reactors.
