The knight was covered in armor top to bottom not to mention he is bigger and has a long sword whereas the Viking had a short axe. That Knight got stabbed in the leg and just walked it of, that was kinda sus ngl

Right, don’t even know where he got that idea from. In Ashraf’s (lead designer for Valhalla, AC 4, & origins so let’s goooooo lol ) interviews he mentions this being a mix between Viking & assassins. It was also said Altair’s ancestors are in the game. Don’t compare this game to that butt Odyssey game pretty sure it’s not going to be another “just slap AC in the title”

I could imagine everyone got tired of the same mechanic after the Ezio trilogy and that they don’t understand not every culture and region of the world is going to have the same aspect as an Assassin just like languages, beliefs, and politics.

I loved the game but it’s more like Viking simulator than an assassin game. But story wise it’s still the assassins so cope harder old gen ac fans.
