Till date, I used to think that this is a very simple reaction....never knew about the problem with the reversibility..... thanks a lot, MKA SIR, for informing about the reversibility problem, and how to minimise it using Soxhlet's apparatus and using insoluble base or at lower concentrations...😍😍😍😍....now, when I open my book, I see the retro-aldol reaction and the reversible sign everywhere...they even mentioned that it is reversible....I overlooked it...🤐🤐🤐🤐
