The Making Ofs are so fascinating, I love how much effort they put into things, barely use any CGI. I had no idea it was the band members that were playing those "garden gnomes come to life" people. I do like the final video that came out of it, it very much fits the song, I wouldve never guessed the issues surrounding the video.

The unrestored part of the Beelitz sanatoriums (today with guided tours, and photo tours lasting several hours) is still a magical place between decay and history. Very worth seeing and absolutely perfect for the Rammstein video.

This is a long time dream, beeing part of a Rammstein video. When i see the older lady, she is so lucky and will never forget those days to the end of her life. This song is in my top 3 Rammstein songs (the whole Mutter album is a masterpiece) and gives me goosebumps everytime i hear that song. Mister D, can I pls you to check your volume settings? The video is way louder than your voice, i have to tune down the video everytime, and when you speak i have to tune up again to understand you. Maybe you can level up both parts a little bit in the future? Thank you!

Eugenio Recuenco was angry that Rammstein used parts of his pictures in the reshoot. I assume that Rammstein also acquired the rights to the image material with his payment. He even says, "I don't wish them dead, just that they be seen for what they are: a commercial product disguised as a lie." Did I mention he was pissed?😅 A short time later, he apologized for that comment. "OK. Sorry for the comment. I was a little upset. The video will be left for my mother to watch as a family. May Rammstein continue to do well in the future. It will take me another year to recover after this. I thought that making the video clip for Rammstein was the best thing that could have happened to me. Thank you for your messages of support; and also to those who criticized my attitude for being right, and showed me that it wasn't right. Enjoy this video from a different but national group, which I think shows that I know how to take enough shots when needed." Rammstein later allowed him to publish his version of the video.

The Netflix series "1899" was also partly filmed there. The room with the T-shaped hole where the children were locked up can often be seen there. Last year, woke "critics" discovered the Rammstein video and thought the child actors were being traumatized.

"woke" - more "Cancell Culture". Nothing more for me. There is a nice book called "Woke: Psychologie eines Kulturkampfes" by Esther Bockwyt. I know it only in German language now (for those who's language is English), but I hope she get's not cancelled, because these kind of cult does not like the truth about themselves. She looks critic at it (which means also the downside of this new cult).

However, the group did not like the first video (Eugene) and it was not published. The 2 video versions of this song (Eugene and Zoran) were not impressive either. This song deserved better, like the band's last videos (Deutschland, Zeit, Angst...).

Como super fan de Rammstein si es verdad que "me picó un poquito" la generalizacion hacia los españoles pero en defensa del grupo dire que ellos son muy pero que muy autocriticos con su nacionalidad,por otra parte los españoles tambien tenemos nuestros conceptos (seguro que erroneos de los alemanes)Historicamente tenemos bastantes conexiones.Fijate que en los 60's una gran cantidad de españoles fueron a trabajar a Alemania occidental (Mercedes,Volkswagen...)Asi que acepto la estocada.😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
