Lara Fabian us the Ultimate Artist, a story teller beyond compare ..............she paints a story with her voice and emotions and invites her audience to travel into that story with her; having experiencing that journey a person can relive it on their mind forever. Lara Fabian is magical.

And in case it hadn't clicked yet now you know why Dimash is such a huge fan of hers and loves her so much and has since he was a kid. Aside from having performed some of her songs I feel like you can see where he is able to emulate her when he sings some of his most emotional songs.

One of the most beautiful songs to me and probably the most intimate english song Lara wrote. I hope Caruso is next and as someone suggested, reacting to the Mademoiselle Zhivago musical movie would be amazing, it's a whole experience and Lara is obviously the main character. It's in 4 languages and it's about karma and réincarnation. The whole movie is on youtube but you could react to one song/story at a time. Toccami, Desperate housewife, Llora, Lou, Mademoiselle Hyde or Russian Fairy tail.

I think I understand what Rollen is saying, when I hear Lara in French and Italian, both her native languages, I get more emotional... it feels more profund and true. Anyway, you can try Caruso in italian see how it feels to you!

I always look forward to your reactions 😍 It may sound weird but you are such an endearing couple that if you lived in France I would want to get to know you! I so appreciate your personality your humanity and your feeling. I am so happy to have discovered you on KZbin. 🤗 Concerning Lara Fabian, it's not usual because normally I prefer the live versions because she excels in them, but here is the link of 2 videos that are extracted from the movie and that I really recommend you: "Mademoiselle Zhivago" composed of several video clips of Lara. Here is "Mademoiselle Hyde" (the video may surprise you) kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3iwen6OZdOjpqM (Lara wrote the lyrics and the music by Igor Krutoy pianist who accompanies her during her concerts as he does also with Dimash who has by the way made the cover of this song. You already know that Lara is Dimash's idol 😉) After discovering her video, if you are tempted to listen again to "Mademoiselle Hyde" but live this time to see her interpretation, here is the link of this song during her concert in Russia accompanied by Igor Krutoy on piano: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYHZenawoNyVprM The 2nd video link is about women beaten: "Llora" kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnfLZGh8pNRseaM And if for your own pleasure you want to watch the whole video "Mademoiselle Zhivago" from which are extracted these 2 songs, here is the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5DZooOdo5yKiKc Lara Fabian is always simply surprising in this journey through different eras where she embodies each song wonderfully. I hope you will enjoy

Nice react Angie and Rollen. Interesting to see that understanding the words for you interferes a bit with your emotions and feelings. This means you are comoletely ready for Caruso. Small story about this song: lara co-composed it with Walter Afanassiev, he is a legnedary composers that wrote some of the biggest hits from Mariah, Celine and Whistney. She was engaged to him and supposed to marry him, she broke when she discovered he betrayed her and she wrote he lyrics of the song after this event. So this is very personal as you can imagine. This song has been covered by so many artists but let me give you only 2 names: Josh Groban and Barbra Streisand.

When I first encountered Broken Vow after the pyrotechnics of Je Suis Malade & Adagio as a new fanatic, I liked it a lot but moved on quickly. With time, repeated exposure & paying close attention to _how_ she does very difficult things but seamlessly & for the benefit of the story (not to call attention to the singer, but to the song), I now feel this performance & song are AMAZING. It's very well crafted & flawlessly executed. (Did you see her lip quivering in emotion toward the end?) All this to say, not every song is going to hit everyone, everytime like a burst of fireworks & I'm sure we all understand that. No worries. But what they will do is hit 100% genuinely as themselves. I think of her as a vocal chameleon - she sinks completely into a song to allow it to be exactly what it is, in purest form. Intense ballad to bubblegum pop song & everything in between. Which I find astonishing. Great reaction, y'all. See you next time. 🖖🏽

@@EmilyGrace20 I don't like Dimash, so just a few. As I said, I don't find emotion in Dimash. He is perfect when it comes to singing, but to me he sounds a karaoke male version of Lara's. His range is impressive nonetheless...
@manofiske33182 жыл бұрын
@@vervideosgiros1156 I have yet to "connect" with this Dimash dude too. Granted I've only heard a couple of performances and that was after a huge build up due to his constantly being mentioned and referenced in these 'reactions' to Lara Fabian by more recent disciples of hers. I say, 'yet' since I expect that a some later date I might be more inclined to give him a fuller hearing . However, it is telling that in the few moments that I did devote to his performances , he was unable to sustain my interest while that was not the case when I happened upon LF wayyyy back in the day. By the way, when I tried to sell others on her 'special gifts', primarily those constituting the U.S. market, I was met with either polite tolerance or some form of resistance , even hostility as if I were attempting to force-feed them some "culture" or class, simply due to the fact that she sang in a language foreign to them and/or with theatrical flourish, etc. . So this latter-day movement of 'Johnny-come-lately', fans almost all of whom ponder the question as to why she isn't or wasn't "more popular or well known" in the States _and_ elsewhere leaves a bitter-sweet taste. I want to but usually, don't lash out with something along the lines of , "you only have yourselves to blame" or "look in the mirror" . It's somewhat akin to trying to talk, *now* to a person who is disinclined politically - regarding contemporary events and how they have been mislead and are blinded to the true nature of things. You are bound to be greeted with less than open arms, to put it mildly, for your efforts to enlighten. Lol
