Okay THIS IS IMPORTANT, you can go ahead and show them Iron Man 2, but do not show them Iron Man 3 right away before a couple of necessary films or else the third film won't make sense. Here is an ordered list: - The Incredible Hulk [Optional, if you consider there are too many movies you can skip this one] - Iron Man 2 (2010) - Thor (2011) - Captain America: The first Avenger (2011) - The Avengers (2012) - Iron Man 3 (2013) Also, this movies have 1 or 2 scenes in the middle and after the credits that are important to the overall story, we would be thankful to see them react to those as well (There was an important after credits scene on this movie too, if you can show it to them next time, we'll be thankful!) Finally THANK YOU, it is so much fun to see them react to this films, long time fan of your Channel.

Be sure to watch movies in story chronological order, and not the order movies were released
@DlcEnergy Жыл бұрын
@@cultivatinggrace Watching movies in chronological order isn't necessarily the best way to watch movies. Would you tell someone who hasn't seen any Star Wars to watch the prequels first? And in the MCU they're all their own contained story anyway at first so you can watch them in whatever order, except for once they're in a shared universe. So ultimately watching in release order is always the safest bet. I definitely wouldn't start someone off with Captain Marvel. It may be set in the past, but it's already teasing a lot of what the MCU becomes. And it also ruins Nick Fury's "keep one eye open" scene.
@cycl0ps453 Жыл бұрын
@@cultivatinggrace I think for marvel its fine to be release order. Its not like star wars where the story goes back and forth so much
@DlcEnergy Жыл бұрын
@@cycl0ps453 Yeah and the prequels would spoil the mystery of the og trilogy. You're supposed to be on the same journey as Luke, he's the protagonist. You're not supposed to know more than he knows. Prequels in general are nothing but a backstory, that's why they aren't presented first. It's no different than series like The Walking Dead giving you the backstory of characters. You don't know their whole backstory straight away. That would take away from you percieving them the same way the main characters percieved them when they first met. Those prequels are really just to give us the backstory to Vader and Obi-Wan for those who have already became fans of their character. And they of course end with a nod to the next main characters of the og trilogy, Luke and Princess Leia. So yeah, getting all the lore first ultimately just spoils it all. Like even with Harry Potter, you don't need to know Snape's backstory first. It's best to percieve them through they eyes of the protagonist(s) first. It also gives you a whole other experience understanding their character when you watch things back with hindsight.

I'm really looking forward to them getting to experience these films, but as many others have mentioned, please be sure to show them in the correct order! They are all interconnected and have important pieces that will only make sense if shown in the correct order. Also, I would like to say how much I loved experiencing this movie again for the first time with Raeen and Babu. Their reactions to these iconic scenes were so fun, and I had goosebumps again watching the first revelation of the Iron Man mark 1 suit, and the other versions shown. Such a fun, powerful movie! Ah, the movie which started the good part of MCU. The Shelby Cobra destroyed by Tony in the garage sits in the Hall of Superheroes Museum in the county next to me (Elkhart) and is still in the exact condition but the owner loves it. There also is Captain America's shield with the Avenger's cast autographs on it... I think. Didn't look at it good when I went a few years ago. If anyone's in northern Indiana (USA) the Hall is pretty much the only museum with _every single solitary_ piece of comic book character history. Used to be just a large 2 story barn off a backroad but moved a while ago to a bigger and more popular area for ease of access. I might go again as it's been quite some time. Iron Man is such a wonderful character study. I'm a huge fan of personal growth and development in cinema and this movie was a terrific example. Stark was such a selfish person from the beginning, was hit with a reality check, was humbled, and privatized world peace with his tech. :)
