I discovered Hania Rani the same way with the same exact melody: Hawaii - Oslo, live from Studio S2. I was mesmerized from the first few notes. Its very interesting for me how much variation and emotion can come out of just a single key on a piano. And I have heard this melody in several versions from different concerts and studio recordings. I still find this the most intresting. It draw me in to a dream state very fast and I too zone out :) I have now also listened to a lot of other melodies from Hania, she do also sing in some of her music pieces.

Exactly. The inspiration wood is very big. She goes to the fountain where she drink that 'ambrosia' of the gods and return to us and play her music for us 😪😪

She is truly amazing, and I listen to everything I can find by her. Her latest album ("Ghosts") is really genre-bending in its scope, and the live performances are just awe-inspiring. The youtube algorithm gifted me with this video several months ago and it blew me away. Such a cool percussive style. Afterwards I went and listened to all of her music and it's great. She cites Radiohead as an influence. The studio versions are wonderful, but the stars truly aligned for this live performance.

This was the first look/listen to Hania's music as well. I have listened to it over and over and never tire of it...her music is an invitation to leave behind our fear of darkness...because that is where All the possibilities exist...always and forever more...out there in the Wild Blue Yonder...❤🦋

It's just her... she controls everything on the background electronics somehow through this earpiece connected to a wireless to the mixers. You'll see it on the other videos I linked for you. This young lady is probably going to be one of the greatest composers & musicians of my lifetime and I'm way older than you. She has a lots of videos out there and I'm just shocked she hasn't exploded on YT... And you'll see in the Paris concert they interview her after and she is just a kind and modest person who explodes on the ivory.

Dude! Sitting in your car ...watching the rain come down?? Really😅 How about soaring on the thermals as an Eagle and swooping and diving, and doing loop d'loops! She is the real deal! If you loved and adored "this little set", you will also love and adore everything she has done so far. She is incredibly talented! There are So Many incredibly talented people in every corner of the globe! You Tube, with all it's imperfections, including the questionable compensation of all of these artists...is like a world wide radio station, allowing us to listen in to all of the beautiful gifted beings out there.
