And it didn't have the slightest logic that the result would be different, the entire Order of the Phoenix was there, the school's teachers were there, it was an extremely powerful army and two with a message of death would not have the slightest chance.

The movies didn't show how skilled Snape was. In the books, he held off McGonagall AND Flitwick. For those who dont know, Flitwick was also a world class duelist. Snape fought them both to a standstill without hurting either of them, and they were distinctly trying to hurt him.

You're right about the zodiac signs, and I think I'm right about her being a lion(ess) for multiple reasons She encouraged the mischievous ghost to prank Umbridge in the books She said Lockhart (the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher from Chamber of Secrets) was a better teacher than Umbridge (Umbridge gave Harry a bad grade, and McGonagall said "He has achieved high marks in all Defense Against the Dark Arts tests set by a competent teacher) She defended the Divination teacher when Umbridge tried to fire her She fought against Voldemort's army of Death Eaters She was upset when it was decided that Harry would participate in the tournament even though he was too young McGonagall was one of the best side characters in Harry Potter, and I will be forever mad that she didn't get as much attention in the movies
