I think blade was the best one to fight Azazel with his being used to fighting targets that move fast and similar to Azazel he could anticipate where he would be next.

I'm so glad the Fox Marvel characters weren't killed off and got to really prove their worth here, along with Channing Tatum as Gambit. Man, he really did the character justice, and Wesley still has it it looks like (at least in the scenes we see it's him and not a stunt actor lol)

Oh yeah, because you would definitely be able to make out his blade in a sea of others during an intense battle sequence. Not to mention, he might have lost it. This is an Apocalyptic hellscape where heroes and viallains across the multiverse either died or had their gear dumped in this universe, on this planet.

Never explained. I'm assuming it's because they didn't want any characters to be too similar. Both Deapool and Blade are known for swords and guns. I personally think it was a bad call. Their swords and guns aren't the same and their styles with using them are different. Deadpool uses generic katanas and Blade uses a custom made double edge sword with a built in theft deterrent within the handle. Deadpool dual wields Desert Eagle Mark XIX pistols and Blade uses multiple modified guns.

he does, it's in the background of their hideout but it's hard to see. he probably isn't using it here because Snipes is no spring chicken these days, he's not able to keep up the sword play as easily as he used to
