Prior superhero, sci-fi, and fantasy media has super-children and babies all the time. The aliens and the surprises we see with this series definitely don't limit that either. Almost every scene with the bug aliens or the brother in it shows or mentions something about his accelerated age - it's not crazy to conclude that there would be some kind of payoff for that in the finale when Mark is struggling on his own and Mom's hurt.

I've not read the comics but I see where this show is going. Mark is going to be the strongest viltrumite, well... He is half viltrumite but you get what I mean. He is going to surpass Nolan in terms of power and he is going to go to war and kick all of the viltrumites asses. If it's hinting that mark is getting stronger and stronger, and that he keeps holding back... I wonder just how powerful he is going to become.

What a shite finale. Brings back a character the audience, the show and even Mark forgot (it’s been 6 months). Pacing all over the place, and resolved nothing. Now we wait another 2 years for another lacklustre season that gives all the screen time to the least interesting characters and takes 6 months to fully air.
