Nightmare sounds the BEST too when you read it together with the lyrics, because the lyrics will ALL make sense as to why there was such a drastic shift and change, just like chill kill itself.

Nightmare is my one of my top 3 favorite songs from the album - it had barely any dull moments and I love that creepy-but full of wonder and optimism type of mood that it has going. It’s makes me feel like I am watching a creepy cabinet of curiosities come to life at midnight.

Their composers went from Tchaikovsky in Knock Knock to Shostakovich in Nightmare, so maybe hoping for them to incorporate my man Dvorak isn't too far-fetched. Go, composers!

What makes one kiss interesting were the adlibs, especially the second verse leading to chorus. How every members just keep on exchanging roles from lines to adlibs with each other. And the prechorus when wendy went from two swaggy "yeah"s to a melodic "yeah" melismas just makes the track so fun.

Honestly Cazzi Opeia is my favorite RV producer, she just knows the vibe of the group and not let them sing songs that are not "them"

Loved nightmare- the chorus / verse contrast and the reassuringly major melody line in the chorus balanced against the dissonant high pitched drone in the background so perfectly paints a picture of trying so hard to reassure yourself that everything is fine when in reality something is very very wrong.

7:00 'Comfortable' actually ties in with the lyrics in that part, where the speaker reassures the listener that it's just a nightmare, it will be over soon. I think the banality was intentional. It's like chicken soup, or other comfort food. It's familiar, ordinary, but just what u need when you're going down with sth. The clash 6:18 is the extra ginger that gives it zest. 11:52 That was divine. Iced Coffee is an old track, recorded about a year before the others, so it makes sense that it kinda sticks out. 14:05 Catching the tags is always fun haha. 20:30 Cazzi was amazing on this album, really helped out our girls to deliver bops, majority of the tracks co-produced by her. Almost as if she shepherded this album.

Nightmare is my favourite song on the album and possibly one of my favorite songs ever by redvelvet, i remember the lyrics saying "even i leave you or hurt you don't worry it's only a nightmare" Listening to Nightmare, I always imagine 2 kids discovering their stepmother plan to murder them, the younger one slips and speak of their discovery infront of the stepmother and the older sibling laughing covering up for his younger sibling saying that they're only speaking of a nightmare and the stepmother follows along the alleged nightmare narrative .... I really love that song that i made an entire story out of it
