Oh what to put in the description...
Welp I guess we didn't talk much about the MV, so I guess I can say here that I loved it? Hella confused to what was going on (I got kind of IU 'You&I' MV vibes??) but I loved the aesthetics. The music made the MV seem warm and happy rather than creepy...so i'm looking forward to some scary/creepy vibes in their next comeback!
Loved the instrumental drop outs and the rhythms and the sound of the piano and guitar...Kevin was all heart eye emoji over the piano, it seemed.

They need a popularity explosion. Sadly there was more coverage of Twice doing everyday things than DC for their 1 year anniversary. I see WAAAAY more non-SKorean posts and fans than international. Not that INT fans aren't important, but the SK following is needed for promo in the news. They are still my #1 and will always be. You should make a reaction of this song (when it's released) in comparing to Minx debut "Why Did You Come To My Home" (because same group + Handong & Gahyeon). I think many people would be surprised, that they tried the (not working) cute concept. They were actually really good but the market was (and is) full of those kind of groups and in Korea the people are always looking for something special - and Dreamcatcher is special :)

Tom's Music Corner I actually like Minx back then and I can already see they have potential in their skill, but at the same time I also think nothing really special about them at that time. Like you said, Kpop is full of cutesy group, so they feel like just one of the bunch. So, glad they turned into DC, cause they bring something new to Kpop with rock/metal sound and dark-horror concept. Although, I think it should be noted, that they are not the first one to try to do that. Pritz had tried to do Babymetal style of music into Kpop, but failed. And for the dark-theme, there are actually some groups who tried to incorporate that element before DC, like A.Kor, Sunny Hill, Ladies Code, and Queen B'z, but it's more of as an experiment for one song/single, and not as an overall concept for the group. And DC is the first one to successfully manage to do this.

The chord progressions were predictable as you said but THE SONG IS JUST SO ENJOYABLE AND HEAD-BANGING AHHHHH I especially love the last chorus because they take out the beat and it contributes to the song's litness so much :') (also at 4:02 it's actually SuA who sings that part and Siyeon sings the part during the F-B-Em-D-A part with the little high note)
