For all of you out there that got to see them live during the early 70's...I am sooooo jealous!!! You had it so good and didn't even know it. Nobody makes music like this anymore and thank God someone recorded this masterpiece for us to enjoy forever!

I saw waaaaay back in '77 at the old Richfield collisium ( the old home of the Cavs near Cleveland). GREAT CONCERT

I saw them three times in the 70s at the San Diego sports Arena 73,75,77. Best concerts I’ve ever seen. They never had a warm-up act. They would always come out and say.: this is no ordinary concert. This is a Led Zeppelin concert.😉😍

This is from the motion picture The Song Remains the Same, which was a staple at the midnight movie in theaters during the 70’s

Not this one, the version from the movie has reactions from the crowd, and a security guard freeking out, haha. Only a couple people have reacted to that version.

I saw Zepplin live back in the day, but also saw Page & Plant live, backed by an orchestra as well as an egyptian orchestra. When you see these guys, it becomes very clear why they are who they are.

I saw Led Zeppelin in concert in 1969 and 1970. It was amazing. Other favorite live bands that I saw in concert are The Who, Jefferson Airplane, Jethro Tull, The Police and Joe Cocker.

You're right about them selling out stadiums. They sold out Madison Square Garden here not just one night but 3 nights in a row for this. Also sold out 6 nights of Madison Square Garden in a row in 1977. They were the first big stadium touring band and had a bigger/more luxurious plane the the US president's air force one at the time. Also they made their entire following off albums with hardly any radio support or play. Legends

They also beat The Beatles attendance record during this tour too, at Tampa in Florida. The Beatles previously held it for 8 years with their Shea Stadium gig in 1965.

Hi, its an incredible live performance, Jimmy & Robert just bounce off of each other. Robert was saying its a drag, working from 7 to 11. Keep the songs rolling people, 😂

They actually toured in the US on December 26,1968, before their album came out on January 12,1969. I’m not sure how many concerts they did then, but the 26th one was in Denver.

I was lucky enough to see Plant and Page in concert back in 1997. They had just released an album together, and "After our contractually obligated 3 songs from the new album, then we'll have some real fun!" Robert announced at the beginning of the 3 hour long concert in Albany NY.

Celebration Day was to me the best live concert hands down! And at quite a bit older age,but maturity has its rewards. I played the guitar by ear & I'm quite picky Give that concert a listen to- u won't regret it 😊

Tea For One is a beautiful slow blues song, there’s no live from the four of them, just the studio. Plant & his wife & kids were in a bad car accident, his wife almost died from loss of blood. She had a fractured skull & other injuries, his leg was in really bad shape, they didn’t know if he’d walk again. He also had other injuries, & was in a wheelchair for about a year. Since they wouldn’t be able to tour, & something to do with taxes, they left England to record their Presence album. Plant wasn’t happy about being away from his family at the time (understandably). In Tea For One, you can tell how much he wants to be home with his wife, it’s a beautiful soulful song. Thank you for reacting to the beautiful masterpiece SIBLY.
