Saw ELP in 73 & 74, you are not kidding, only Pink Floyd has effects anywhere near what ELP could cook up in magic early to mid 70s. Incredible shows in New Haven, both in the Colosseum and then in the Yale Bowl. I thought we were going to spin into space as the whirling notes were insane!

Simply the best, I am blessed to have followed them since the beginning in 1969. Often copied but never duplicated, they are the best in the hard rock field, period. You can argue that all 4 members are the best at what they do in Rock history, and the thing is, they were even better than the sum of their parts and that is insane! Along with the Beatles and Pink Floyd, they are the best bands and musical catalogs created in my lifetime, they will stand the test of time forever. Do, No Quarter live from MSG and once again, listen in wonder. Enjoy! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶🔥

Great reaction. Love how focused you both are on the music, your comments, and that you let the song play to the end. You were spot on about Led Zeppelins way of improvising and free style way of playing. During concerts they play different from their recordings which are structured with a lot of rhythm and tempo changes. I would highly recommend listening to the recorded version of Since I've Been Loving You. If you react to more live LZ, I would recommend Stairway To Heaven from the same concert, Kashmir live at Knebworth 1979, official video, or In My Time of Dying, Earl Court 1975.

This is the best rock band you'll ever hear. Robert Plant is the greatest rock singer Jimmy Page who wrote and founded Led Zeppelin is the greatest guitarist ever and has inspired others for 50 years John Bonham the greatest drummer who every other drummer looks to for inspiration. John Paul Jones bassist and keyboards a genius all round musician. Together all four make up Led Zeppelin. Every song they made is incredible. They've outsold every other rock band and ruled the 70s. Choose any song by them and you'll be amazed.

Led Zeppelin have Rock Blues Folk Funk Reggae Prog & Mystical songs. They are the best for checking out so many genres. Many have started with Led Zeppelin I side one, & worked their way through every album. They were together first rehearsal was on August 19,1968, & ended the band on September 25,1980, when sadly their friend & the greatest drummer passed away. Robert Plant lead singer & harmonica * Jimmy Page lead guitar band founder producer & mixer * John Paul Jones (JPJ) bass guitar keyboards mandolin etc. * John (Bonzo) Bonham greatest drummer ever.

Led Zeppelin really is the greatest band ever, they improvise parts of their live performances, songs are never done the same way twice. They perform together like 4 parts of the same person, even though singer Robert Plant or guitarist Jimmy Page adds to it, the others just know to follow. Every song they do is great, with several masterpieces too. They do several genres, & do them to perfection, you never know what you’ll get from them. Other magnificent live performances are Earls Court (1975) the May 25th version of In My Time Of Dying. It’s 12:24 long, you will absolutely love it. There’s 2 songs live at Knebworth (1979) Kashmir, & Achilles Last Stand. Everything from Madison Square Gardens (1973) is performed excellently, their movie was made at those 3 concerts. All 4 of these genuses are the greatest at their crafts, together they are The GODS Of Music. Singer Robert Plant, has great vocals, his range tones & textures are off the charts. They all perform with true love & passion of their music. I & many others hope you dive deep down the Led Zeppelin rabbit hole, you will enjoy the journey of a lifetime. Thank you for your reaction.

I was lucky enough to see Plant and Page on their tour in 1997 (Walking into Clarksdale album). They did 3 new songs quickly, then ripped into 3 hours of Zeppelin's greatest hits. Best show I will ever see. Jimmy Page does a great job at directing the band, leading the others (and through body language,...cues them)and he writes and produces ALL of their music. Robert and John Bonham, were paid salary their first 2 years in the group. Jimmy hired them, and had the whole vision for what the band would become.

Hey guys, great reaction! First, you can't box Led Zeppelin into any one genre, their just so versatile. Two, if you want to hear possibly one of the greatest hits of all time, please listen to "Stairway to Heaven". Lastly, while others may disagree, I highly recommend you listen to their studio version. They're great live, but I think to truly appreciate what most of us heard the first time around was the studio version. Plus, there are things in their songs you just can't duplicate live relative to the studio version. Again, great reaction, and hope to see you check more of their stuff.

They are mesmerizing live eh? The music back then was different, with a generation of incredible talent just exploding out like a super nova. We went to concerts to see our hero's but spent all our free time listening to music with friends, - England in the 1970's was a great place to be a teenager. Have fun discovering the many different bands of that time, a totally different vibe than the solo female music scene of 2025. Peace.

I could see the disbelief in your reaction, both of you! These guys burst onto the scene 8/19/68 as relative unknowns and ran over or through everything in their way. Jimmy Page, band's founder, producer, and guitarist, turns 81 years old this morning (1/9/44). When their drummer (John Henry Bonham) died accidentally, at age 32, in Sept of 1980, they decided they would not go on without him, and that was the sad ending of one of the greatest musical groups, of any genre, in history. Try "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" or their very1st song, "Good Times Bad Times" next!
