Those wondering how Landa could allow himself to be put in that situation. I think it was a cultural mistake. He made the assumption that an order from an American higher authority had the same weight as an order from a German higher authority as evidenced by his comment "You'll be shot for this!".

Yea, bro did not understand that US soldiers do what they want when miles away from command elements. That's why it's hard to plan against our doctrine. We only remember half of it and adapt the rest.😂

Raine told Landa, TO HIS FACE, that if their situations were reversed, Laine would not show him mercy. Landa was an idiot lmao

I don't know I felt bad for that one in the bar. I mean we don't know much about the individual people in the German army, and he just wanted to see his kids but instead he died in a standoff after willingly surrendering the hostage.

You'll be Shot for this!! Naw, more like chewed out, I been chewed out before. Anyone who's ever been there loves that line! So great!!

It all came full circle for Landa. At the beginning of the movie, he prided himself in being such a good a Jew hunter because he would think like a Jew instead of a German... and yet he didn't anticipate what Aldo would do because he thought like a German instead of as an American. "You'll be shot for this!" Nope... A German would be shot for that, not an American. He lost at his own game and it cost him everything.

My mom still gets mad when she sees my arm cause I have cigarette burn on it from high school. Guy said I was too scared to put it out on my arm so I took a pull off my cigarette and than put it out on my arm rubbing it out and flicked it in his face.

People like to mention that "hey plastic surgery existed back then, he could remove it", plastic surgery back then couldnt give a wound THAT deep as he curved it into his skull and even if it could, thats based on the assumption that Brad Pitt's character isnt going to come around and refresh it.
@VisualEnjoyer975626 күн бұрын
I never understood why people are so hell bent on giving excuses as to how a fucking NAZI could get around being branded for what he was. Whenever I watch this movie and one of my "friends'" first reaction is "Meh, just get plastic surgery and you can go on with your life" instead of a "Ha! Karma bitch" or something along those lines I start looking at them in a different way (weirdly enough it's always the white friends saying shit like that)
