Honestly, I don't know. At first I thought it was a mistake in the article, but I googled it and there were many references to "#-times platinum". English grammar rules have a lot of exceptions, so perhaps this is an exception. But it's not a common adjective you'll use, which is why I ignored it in this lesson.
