Darlene was stuck at the airport because of a computer glitch. All domestic flights were canceled for two days. She had a very important job interview. Darlene was sad because she missed it. She did not like the airport food. It tasted bad. Darlene felt helpless and trapped. She had nothing to do but wait. She was bored and lonely. Finally, the flights started again. Darlene was thankful she was not injured. But she was worried about finding a new job. She missed her big chance.
