Followed the video and started over couple of times and still couldn't get it to work. When I changed the active condition from switch to logical switch BATT SWITCH as shown at 6:50 in the video and toggled the switch but got no read out audio at all. What am I missing?

The BATT SWITCH is a very simple logic switch. So there’s not a lot that could be wrong. It should trigger if either of the two lines in it are true. If only the switch is not working. Make sure that when you select the switch, you are holding it, then click the return button while still holding the switch in the correct position. If you’re using the same switch as in the video, it should show SG with a down arrow. When you move the switch. You should see that line go bold in the logic switch. And the name of the logic switch should go green.

Thanks for your videos. Very useful. I am coming from Spektrum and have the following issue if you can help in any; 1. The throttle reverse is always on. Even after using the mixer to reverse the signal of the channel , there is no response. I had to play with the pwm center in the outputs page and reduced it from 1500 to 1000 to make the EDF blow air rather than sucking air !!! Is there a simple way to that. Why it didn’t work with just inverting the channel ! 2. How to assign certain channel to a switch. For example, my gyro mode is having 3 modes: on, off, limited banking. Now it is always on. Should be done through a mix too !! . What is the relation of mix with channel assignment!! 2- How to set a Percentage timer (timer that work based on the level of throttle). 3- How to get and use better clearer voice / speech since the current voice specially text to speech are low quality.. for example “motor on” will be read motron quickly and so on. 4- is there a way to make the radio read the text in sequence?. Currently if I move a 3 position switch from 1 to 3 it will read only the speech for the middle position but not the third position, unless I wait till it finishes speaking in position 2 then I move the switch to the third position to hear the call out. Hi Daren. Thank you for another great video, you help me a lot to understand Ethos. I have a question, I will use a TD12 with 2 2S LiPo batteries connected. It’s possible to setup an independent alarm for each battery?

The TD R12 will take up to 10v input voltage. So 2S is fine. But it will output that voltage to the servos. So if they are not HV servos, you would need to use a BEC before putting the power in to the receiver. I can’t see a list of telemetry sensors for the TD R12. It may be that each battery’s voltage is returned via the telemetry sensors. In which case, each battery can be monitored.

I’m using the Samsung Pro Endurance MicroSD cards. They are made for being accessed often, and have performed faultlessly.

Hi Eric. Looking at the web site, it should. There is an onboard barometer. So you should get altitude, vertical speed, and the voltage of the battery.

Just list them one after the other. The special functions will activate in order.

Hi Daren I know you can add voice value to a switch or logic switch buuuuuut can you add a voice value to any of the four sticks? The reason I ask before you assume that I’m nuts is I’m building a tugboat and thought it might be fun to have call out of say “ full speed ahead” when you advance the throttle stick fully forward. Oh and if you think that is nuts I’m thinking of adding inav to run a camera and telemetry on the bridge( cockpit for you airplane types). Love your vids on ethos and inav keep them coming!

I like your channel it's helper me out a lot with my new s20x radio, I have a question about the rssi ,I have arx8r accst receiver in a plane and it was working good for a while but all of a sudden the rssi warning is coming on all the time even when the plane is very close but the plane still handles ok how do fix this . Hi Darren. My transmitter which is the X 20 S does not offer me the play value command. I think I may have deleted it somehow because it did in the beginning. It also does not give me the welcome to Ethos command on start up. Anything that has to rely on reading a value does not work. Is there anyhow I can reset to the original settings or download the software to the original settings? Thank you very much. Stephen
