I know I'm 2 years late, but I managed to get ahold of an older version of Adobe and this really helped with making assets for making an object show of my own! For a school project too, I guess we both have courage to mention BFDI and the OSC in schools because I used some of my object show's upcoming lore for a school project too lol But thanks for the tutorial nonetheless! ^^

Hello kind strangers, I need help making the assets, I use FireAlpaca, but I don't know how to stretch the outlines to make more complicated objects. Is there any other application you recommend me (I use PC, so no FlipaClip or IbisPaint X)? The shading is also kind of a problem, but it's because I'm not good at it.

This took way too long for me cuz if I try and use the fill bucket on another layer it just goes to the layer the shape is on, but nonetheless, amazing tutorial! I loved it and it’s helped!

glad you liked it! if you still have trouble filling in something, make sure the outlines touch and don't have any spaces in between

You can remove your background in Freeform now, so if you wanna do an asset in Freeform, just do flip a clip it works, and it gets the objects asset completely outlined on the border of it so you can make object assets and flip a clip

and remember, always use a pallette! on white objects the shadow and lighting will be light blue and light yellow and for lighting, white shadows on other colored objects should have the hue shifted
