Thank you for promoting Medalist, it's an incredible series and I too can't stop gushing about it. As an update to the video, the physical copy of vol 1 is coming out in March 2024 for the western market!

Gotta wonder why they don’t simulpub the physical manga when they do so for the chapters. I mean videogames get released same day all over the world most of the time.

I started reading Medalist yesterday and this manga is extremely enjoyable. the mixture of drama, comedy and sport is wonderfully done. Thank you for the amazing video, Danyul. :)

I just learned yesterday that they are printing official english translations of the manga! Vol 1 is available for preorder right now. I do not have high expectations for the anime adaptation unfortunately so I think its important to spread word and try to show support and demand for contination of this beautiful story however we can

Manga makes everything appealing. I started reading Akane-Banashi about 1 ago. Rakugo doesn’t interest me whatsoever, but the characters sold me on the story. Same thing with Medalist.
