when browsing for books to read, i always look for book reviews. reading vlogs have become some of my absolute favorite videos to film so i had to try out weekly vlogging... (spoiler alert: i read 3 books- my TBR was happy with this one). booktube and tiktok have buzzed about these books… let’s see if i’ll enjoy them. the video has a book talk / book review portion as i read the books that is completely spoiler free, as well as live reactions. i hope you guys enjoy this one hour weekly reading vlog and come out with one more book to add to your TBR and some good book recommendations for 2024!

Really enjoying your vlogs! I sometimes feel the same about reading I try to take a day in between books or I also try not to start a book at night time because I end up staying up until 4am reading 😆 Having to work and having a 7 year to keep up with really not a good idea for me to only sleep 3 hours 😂

the one i made for this video was sancocho! you'll need: - water - onion - oregano - salt & pepper - carrots - culantro (coriander) - garlic - chicken - ñame (yam) i sautéed the onion, carrot and garlic first with a little olive oil while the water boils (season it with salt & pepper). then you toss all that in the boiling water with some oregano, coriander (the more the merrier), throw in the yam and the chicken and let that cook until the yam is soft and chicken is cooked through!
